It was simply precious. Private , secluded area. The owners picked us up with a jeep, organized a jungle tour for us and gave us a ride as well. The family is incredibly hard working and polite, they try their best to accommodate our wishes. The food is amazing. No AC but it wasn't necessary as it was pretty cool at night.

One of the most beauiful guesthouse during our stay in Srí Lanka. It is super clean! The hosting family are so kind and helpful and the rainforest tour was absolutely the favorite part of my stay. They saw our sunburn and offered us fresh aloe vera to treat is. The view from the terrace is spectecular! I just hope I can visit this place again the future.

The whole experience was amazing. From the warm welcom through the beautiful room with great view. And Hemel , the owner that is a gifted guide to the rainforest. I stayed at Sinharaja Pitadeniya Hut in Lankagama during our research work in Sinharaja, and it was an excellent experience! The location is ideal—conveniently close to the main road and within easy access to both the Lankagama and Pitadeniya entrances of Sinharaja Forest Reserve. This made it very practical for our research activities. The food was another highlight. Breakfast was included in the price and featured authentic local dishes, which were both delicious and satisfying. The host was incredibly friendly and supportive, always ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment to relax after a day of work. Overall, it’s a great place for anyone visiting the area, whether for research or leisure. Highly recommended!

We arrived very late at this magical place which was very close to the park entrance and they cooked us dinner, everything was delicious and the family was truly welcoming. The cleanest house we've found so far and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home.

The best thing is the family who owns this hotel/inn. They always thought about our needs and tried to accommodate as much as they can. The food wife made was really tasty! They kept this place really clean as well. The place was really quiet and we felt so peaceful. They also do rain forest tours. The owner is such an expert about the nature! とても心のこもった宿で、オススメです。

Staying at rainforest cabin was an unforgettable experience. It was so lovely to stay tucked away from the main tourist traps and support this family owned business. Ravindra was amazing and so generous with his time and energy whether it be bringing us delicious home cooked meals (made by his mother) or showing us secluded swimming spots/waterfalls! To get to the cabin (as is it secluded) you have to walk approx. 8 minutes and cross two streams which for us made the stay even more of an adventure. Also, the natural swimming pool 100m from the cabin was a highlight! Absolutely loved staying here and hope to visit again in the future.

The location of Dolagawa is magical. There is a river and a small waterfall where you can swim right next to the resort. We went to the Sinharaja Forest and the host arranged a 3-4 hour tour for us which was really nice. The food was good and the staff was welcoming, helpful and super friendly!
