My stay at Scenery River Star Hotel was truly unforgettable. Nestled by the riverbank, this hotel offers a breathtaking view and a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, particularly the noise of Hikkaduwa. It is a lovely quiet paradise where neither the sound of cars nor trains can disturb the peace. The room was cleaned correctly, providing comfort, with a terrasse that offered a view of the river — a perfect spot for sitting and relaxation. A highlight of my stay was kayaking on the lake, which the hotel arranged for me. Paddling peacefully on the water was a delightful way to take in the natural beauty of the surroundings. What truly sets Scenery River Star Hotel apart is its commitment to guest satisfaction. The staff were always very helpful. I highly recommend Scenery River Star Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with impeccable service, stunning views and enjoyable activities like kayaking.

What a beautiful place to stay! Great place to relax by the pool or use as a base to explore the area. Rooms were spacious, breakfast was delicious and really wished we could have stayed longer. The host Peter really made everything special!

Generous sized clean rooms in colonial style, with ocean views from the balcony. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was extremely generous and served on a sandy patio overlooking the beach. Food at Olin’s, was amazing! We loved the jumbo prawns and local curries. Happy hour drinks were a bonus. It was in a great location, a 30 minute walk to Hikkaduwa and turtle beach. The surf out the front was lovely to watch, but less safe to swim, however there was a patrolled beach a short walk away where a surf school was located. We also enjoyed the pool. As a family group spread across three rooms, it was perfect!

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon and had an amazing time at Villa ArthurCC. The beautiful surroundings, right in front of the beach, were breathtaking and very romantic. You could watch the sunset right from your doorstep. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The owners and hotel manager, Darrell, was particularly friendly and made sure we had a wonderful experience. The breakfast was delicious and a highlight of our stay.

Absolutely amazing new place with great team. Right on the beach with beautiful view to the ocean. Stuff helped us with all questions. Rooms are clean and well designed, private pools are nice and especially useful if you travel with children. Very safe place with 24 hour security. Highly recommend!

We had an unforgettable stay at OMA Hikkaduwa, which turned out to be the perfect way to end our two-week journey through Sri Lanka. Without a doubt, this was the most beautiful and immaculately clean hotel we stayed at during our entire trip! The hotel’s build quality is exceptional, and the stunning views paired with the unique outdoor bathroom created a truly special experience. The rooms are thoughtfully equipped with hot water, air conditioning, and spacious balconies for ultimate comfort. OMA Hikkaduwa is a true hidden gem, located just 1 kilometer from Narigama Beach and within reach of great restaurants, yet still offering a serene escape where nature is right at your doorstep. The hosts, Åsa and Chili, are incredibly kind and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel completely at home. A huge thank you for having us—“på återseende”! :)

The property is beautiful. Everything is very tastefully decorated. The furnishings are perfect. The garden pool is really cool and with nature sounds it felt so nature friendly!
