Excellent place for everything, from the facility (the super comfortable bed, the stylish decoration, the beautiful pool) to the impeccable staff and the top quality food. We booked for 2 nights and extended as we enjoyed the place so much. The staff is super nice, speak perfect English and super efficient. A lot of wildlife around the property for nature lovers. All the food (both Western and Asian) we had were excellent at an affordable price. After 8 weeks of having different curries in Sri Lanka, I am confident to say that Bird Park makes the best curry. There are plenty of on-site activities to keep you entertained too. Overall a 10/10.

Hotel staff and facilities were very good. We had a very late night check-in and early morning check-out so didn't check the hotel or use facilities much. Beds were comfortable so had a good night sleep with little kids. Hot water was available and good.

My stay at Iduwara Arana was absolutely delightful! From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. The staff's attentiveness and genuine care truly made me feel like a valued guest. The room itself was a haven of comfort, impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed with everything I could possibly need. What truly elevated my experience, however, was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my every need was met, always with a smile and a willingness to assist. This boutique hotel has an amazing history, it used to be a private residence 100 years ago. Most of the flooring tiles are original, the place has been beautifully restored, the rooms are incredible and very cozy, their beds are comfortable. I don't want to give away the story behind the beauty of this building but do stay there and ask them for a little tour around. It's absolutely fantastic.
