The space was simple, brand new, cozy, and beautifully designed, it felt very cozy from the moment we arrived. The food from the in-house restaurant was incredible, full of flavour and made with so much care. What truly stood out was how warmly we were welcomed. Our immediate family had planned this trip after such a long time apart, and Croft Cottage gave us the perfect setting to reconnect. It wasn’t just a holiday, it was a heartfelt experience shared with loved ones. There’s truly no better way to spend quality time together. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect — close to everything we needed. The place is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. We stayed in Nuwara Eliya for a week, trying out different places, and J's Villa was the best for its price and super clean. The host was really nice and helped us a lot. We felt at home during our 2-night stay. The host even said they could cook for us if we brought groceries, but we didn't try it because we ate outside. The location is good, not too far from the city – about 15 minutes by car. Overall, it's a really good place to stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Good location, cozy stay! Loved JL Grand’s central spot near Gregory Lake and Victoria Park. Staff were warm and attentive—our room had breathtaking lake views and was impeccably clean. Breakfast was continental, they were keen to bring you more if you asked, though Wi-Fi was weak in rooms. Ideal for exploring Nuwara Eliya’s charm! Staff was great providing the heater!

This property had very very beautiful big rooms, very nice design overall, it was sparkling clean, the beds were big and extra comfortable, we had a quite large balcony with an amazing view over Nuwara Eliya. The staff very very welcoming, helpful and polite. Breakfast was excellent, with a lot of options to choose from and it is served on a rooftop terrace. I felt amazing staying here and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The staff here are so attentive and so accommodating. It is a really wonderful experience to stay here because of the staff. Another aspect is that the gardens are so beautifully maintained and the heritage cottage itself is stunning. The rooms are spacious with a wardrobe space and seating areas and the bathrooms are ample in size also. The property is in a beautiful location and it is a lovely 20 minute walk into the town. The kitchen oven buffet evening meal and buffet breakfast which was delicious with a wide variety of choices..
