The premises overall is very clean & neatly presented. Our room was always clean, comfortable and maintained well, nice bathrooms, fresh bedding, plenty of towels. Staff were always accommodating, lovely, friendly, polite, always looking after anything we needed. The Food was tasty and always fresh. I highly recommend the Banana Fritters for dessert. A special mention goes out to the staff members who organised a dinner for 9 people very quickly for us with very short notice. Amazing job! If you want a view from your window make sure you take note & book this. Some room windows are completely blocked out, which we actually didn’t mind.

We had the most wonderful stay at Grannie’s House Villa. The villa is beautifully maintained, with thoughtfully designed interiors and modern fittings that make it both stylish and comfortable. Every corner of the space felt inviting, and it was clear that great care has gone into keeping it in perfect condition. We especially enjoyed the games and recreational touches, which added such warmth and fun to our stay. It truly felt like a home away from home! a lovely space to relax and create lasting memories. It’s a newly opened place. Nice pool and clean rooms. Staff were great. Especially Shafraz & the guy with glasses who was very helpful and always smiling and greeting. Overall good experience and good value for money. Close to the beach.

Grand tasteful accommodation in the heart of Colombo but perfectly quiet and peaceful, where the sound of traffic is non existent and replaced by bird song. Huge rooms, great pool, terrific food. Despite some misunderstandings caused by credit card charges through the bank, the hotel manager, Mr. Kariyawasam remained professional and kind in handling the situation. The staff were also very friendly, and the facilities were modern and well-maintained. Overall, if I were to recommend a place to stay in the area, Viluxey City Hotel would undoubtedly be my top choice.
