With the convenience of scanning a QR code in the comfort of my room, I could effortlessly order delicious meals through WhatsApp well in advance. While the meals took a bit longer to prepare, the freshness and quality were well worth the wait. The staff at Subaseth Villa went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Their willingness to assist with any request, from room service to arranging tours, truly exemplified their dedication to hospitality. Nestled amidst the tranquil jungle surroundings, the hotel provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The sight of peacocks, monkeys, and squirrels frolicking in the hotel garden added an extra layer of charm to the experience. One highlight of my stay was the early morning packed breakfast provided for our Wilpattu tour at 5:30 am. It was a thoughtful touch that allowed us to start our day of exploration on the right foot. Moreover, the presence of an organic coconut and mango grove on the premises added a delightful tropical touch to the experience, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and locally sourced produce. In conclusion, my time at Subaseth Villa was nothing short of extraordinary. From the warm hospitality to the breathtaking surroundings, every moment exceeded my expectations. I felt at home and everyone in the family is a friendly, accommodating and a warm host. I learned a few more words of Sinhala while I helped Damayanthie with the cooking or played UNO with their children. There is a river nearby where you can swim, so I went there with the 2 kids. We had such a wonderful stay here. The staff are so lovely and helpful will everything you could need. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable, good aircon and spacious size. The pool area is beautiful and very well maintained. The food was delicious and very well priced. The owner will organise anything you want to do - we did a safari which was amazing and well organised, picked up and dropped back off at the hotel and all tickets etc was sorted for us. The hotel organised amazing tours of Mihintale and the ancient temples with tuk tuk guide named Jaya - make sure to request Jaya as your tour guide! He was very kind and knowledgeable and we had the best time with him touring the beautiful temples.

We loved how peaceful we felt staying at this property! It was a true village life experience. We would recommend taking a walk to the lake which is only 5 mins from the property. It is also conveniently located close to all the main historical attractions in Anuradapura. The staff are very friendly and helpful and even helped us organise a Tuk Tuk for sightseeing.

Thoughtful and beautiful architecture. Warm and friendly owners as well as staff. Local food was freshly made and was delicious. Had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend this place for a quite get away from city noise.

Sampath village was an absolute delight! The room and facilities were pristinely clean and comfortable, outfitted with thoughtful touches like a tea kettle and luggage rack. They let me do a much-needed load of laundry, including a dryer so no need to wait a week for clothes to dry in the humidity. The free bikes were fantastic for exploring the beautiful city. The manager Shan was a godsend - he helped so much to arrange taxis, travel, and even a safari for me and a group of other guests - and he even woke up before sunrise to prepare breakfast for us when we went! He went above and beyond in every way and made my stay both easy and unforgettable.

Very very tasty and healthy food

Anuradhapura was the best place in Sri Lanka for me. I enjoyed my time at Saubagya.

Absolutely liked everything about the Residence by Amaya. Relaxed ambience, convenient location closer to Anuradhapura town and other main attractions of the city. Ideal for families and couples or small groups. I highly recommend The Residence by Amaya because of its clean and comfortable rooms and attentive staff.

The view from the room is super beautiful, the vocation is a little bit outside of the city Center what makes it really calm and natural. When I sat on the terrace I saw monkeys and palm trees. The best part of this place is the host family who treated me super kindly and made me part of the family for the time I stayed at their place. The owner of the property took me to a lot of hidden places and when I got hungry he dropped me at a really nice restaurant. I am really grateful I got to know them!
