We stayed in a family chalet at the bottom of the hill, which had more than enough space for two couples and a child. A small creek ran behind the chalet, perfect for a refreshing morning wade. The restaurant was cozy, with delicious food and beautiful views. This was a special place, and we hope to return someday—and stay a little longer.

Boasting mountain views, Motebong Lodge offers accommodation with a garden, around 48 km from Katse Dam. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.
