During my recent motorcycle trip through the Balkans, I had the opportunity to stay here for one night, and the experience with the host and their family was wonderful. They offered me some delicious local food, and we had the chance to talk about the country and the potential for tourism in Macedonia. I highly recommend anyone passing through to stay at least one night with this family. The place is also safe for parking your motorcycle or car if you’re traveling. Stayed for one night, weekend. Big parking lot in front shared with the local mall, well lit, cameras all around, safe. Nice, clean rooms with everything needed. Great continental breakfast.

Located exactly on the mountain, with exceptional views. Facilities were clean, comfortable and well heated. Staff were very helpful to transfer us to the hotel when we arrived, as the car park was a bit far from the hotel. They also treated us exceptionally well, and were always ready to accommodate us with our needs. Food and drinks were also really good. All in all 10/10 stay

The lodge is situated in a very special spot in Canyon Matka. You have a beautiful view from the terrace of a spacious 2 bedroom appartment with a big living room and a kitchen. All is clean, newly furnished, with a touch of art and good taste. We felt cozy and welcomed. The hosts are super nice, communicative and friendly. Ilija was also helpful with tips for visiting the Canyon. We were their first guests, and we can only recommend the place for all other visitors - either couples, or families (we are family of 4 people). Get ready for a pretty adventurous drive up the hill to get to the lodge, however we managed with Skoda Rapid (no 4WD :-).
