We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Xara Palace. Great location in an authentic luxurious building, decorated with respect its history. The room was impeccable and provided great comfort with outstanding beds. The breakfast was exquisite, being served in the restaurant overlooking the great landscape. We had dinner at the Medina restaurant, affiliated to the hotel and situated in the center of Medina. A great spot with excellent Maltese food. All staff were great, but special thanks to Matthias from front desk who has been really authentic in making our stay such a great memory.

We had an unforgettable night in this beautiful palace from the 12th century, run by a wonderful couple, Omar and Sandra. They, as hosts, made us feel at home, but a home from a fairy tale. Everything is decorated with style and elegantly renovated to preserve the historical atmosphere of a palazzo. The whole space is authentic and elevated, but jet-warm and welcoming. Breakfast is for every recommendation. Perfect fresh French croissants are served, and the entire menu is carefully selected, from eggs benedict to perfect muesli and fresh juice from local oranges. Dinner is also delicious, fine dining with the chef doing his best craft, and the restaurant has a magnificent view of Mdina. We regret that we only booked one night, We are definitely coming back for more days and we will carry this magical day in our hearts forever. Warmest recommendations for Palazzo Bifora and its wonderful owners and staff.

The receptionist Conceicao Gomes was highly professional and exceptionally kind. She helped to make our stay a memorable one. The breakfast staff were extremely efficient and helpful. The hotel is in a fabulous location being close to the walled city and overlooking the park. The rooftop seating area is a wonderful resource. And finally the artwork helps to set off an already very stylist building.

I loved the hotel. The style was super cool but there was no bar or vending machine on site which I always think is a good idea. The room was beautifully done and very cool - lighting was impressive! Bathroom was beautifully done :))))

The breakfast was superb (my friend said it was the best hotel breakfast she ever had)! We had a balcony where we could leave our washed clothes to dry on the chairs and they only needed a day to fully dry. The dinner was very delicious. We went two times for massage in the hotel and really enjoyed it. There was air conditioner in the room + a sitting area. There was a beautiful mirror above the sink in the bathroom that my friend really liked.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. The breakfast was very extensive, with something for everyone. The indoor pool was heated, and we made great use of it. Compliments to the housekeeping team, who maintained our room every day. Every time we returned from our excursions, our room was perfectly arranged. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone; we had an amazing time here.

Nice, stylish room, very comfortable bed and pillows. Convenient kitchenette. Room was overlooking a busy street but the window was 100% soundproof. Lots of useful outlets for gadgets in the room. Music in the bathroom was a nice surprise. Great shower! No designated parking space for a car, however we had no problem finding a free spot on the street near hotel.

The most impressive at the Land's End Boutique Hotel is the incredible views on the Bażilika Santwarju tal-Madonna tal-Karmnu, Valletta, Manoel Island and Sliema shoreline. The reception staff during our stay was exceptional. They make you feel at home and are helpful with any reasonable request that they can resolve within their own expertise. I have rarely seen such dedicated staff. The room was clean and the toiletries were of excellent quality. The rooms were cleaned daily and were very clean. The living room which is available to guests free of charge is another optional service. During the opening hours of the lounge, there are always snacks and drinks available for guests to enjoy. The in-house swimming pool on the eleventh floor invites you to relax and swim and like all other areas, it is very clean. Although the hotel is located on a very busy corner of Sliema, our room was quite quiet and was equipped with almost everything a traveler could wish for, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, and a very good fridge. There are plenty of power sockets and there are even USB ports by the beds for charging your cell phone or tablet.

    Such a beautiful city with amazing buildings within the...

    Such a beautiful city with amazing buildings within the medieval old capitol. It's busy with tourists during the day and would highly recommend returning in the evening when it's so eerily quiet, but amazing. We ate in a rooftop restaurant, The Knights Kitchen so we could see the amazing sunset over Mdina. There are horse and carts to take you around, but we walked and enjoyed the tiny alleyways.     We visited on a Sunday which felt very special. We were able to wander round and barely see anyone else, truly a step back in time. We ate at Coogis in the evening , which was delicious and thoroughly recommend. A treat to visit the town when so quiet

    A delightful small, quiet city....it was nice to stay within...

    A delightful small, quiet city....it was nice to stay within the walls of the city for the nighttime experience. It became the silent city. not a lot to see, but what is there was interesting. Rabat is literally a short walk across a pedestrian friendly bridge with lots of activity. Certainly Mdina is worth a visit.

    Staff was extremly friendly, helpful and accomodating Breakfast was superb with a spectacular view. Our room was spacious, clean and the large terrace offered fantastic views over the island. Room service twice daily was very pleasant. In summary, one of the best hotels we've been to for a while.

    We had a lovely stay in Mdina, loved the Location and the property is huge and felt special. Lovely large bedrooms and bathrooms. Rabat is just a 10 minute walk away for more restaurants and places to visit.
