HOTEL DEX IS A GEM!! Located in Tlequepaque, a neighbourhood adjacent to Guadalajara, Hotel Dex is a brand new hotel, the best option in our opinion. Situated on a relatively quiet street immediately next to colourful main Independencia Avenue. Our room (205) was spacious with a large state of the art bathroom. Bed, bedding and pillows were particularly comfortable. Most attractive is the balcony overlooking the pool offering the option of sleeping in a quiet environment with a screened door for fresh air or using individual A/C. Additional assets are wooden floors and marble tiles, particularly minimalist design, even and acceptable water pressure and hot water. At breakfast, coffee, fruits and muffins are included in the room fare. Paula, responsable for welcoming and hosting (speaks English) and Carlos, responsable for other services, were very welcoming, professional and always eager to help. The other staff was also interested in providing good service.

This hotel is indeed a real dream ! the picture are simply understating the beauty of the place! we spend tree wonderful days over there. Tlaquepaque which is two blocks away is a wonderful and very safe place full of arts shops. Don’t hesitate to ask Carlos, the barman, for a tip.

Tranquil property in Mexican style and right at downtown of Tlaquepaque. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my late arrival. And even when breakfast was simple, it was abundant: big bowl of fresh fruit, coffee and bread.

The WIFI speed was excellent and fast! The food was delicious, service exceeded my expectations. The place was immaculate. I felt safe, I felt valued, I felt welcomed. The shuttle was spacious. The pool was cool. There were no foul odors, the room was comfortable.
