it is a beautiful place to be, to enjoy the food at "food market" or "mercado de comida". Peaceful place since I did not see violence, there are homemade products or "artesanal", products that looks "well done" but you have to check them closely. Food everywhere and be careful because it comes hot and spicy so be advice. Any kind of prices, from low to high and it's up to you to spent it or save it. An incredible place to visit. I really enjoyed the food and how safe and cozy is the location. Also, the waterful inside the mountain is incredibly beautiful. I have never seen anything like that before. Without a doubt, I'm planning to return one day. Can I recommend something else? Zacatlan is a gem and we can see why it is one of the Pueblos Magicos. Lots of interesting streets to check out - especially the Murals done in mosaic tiles, the cemetery, the VitroMurales street, the mercado on Fridays and Sundays. The people are gracious and friendly. Beautiful views , needed more time to visit the waterfalls and for hiking also cod tastings and visiting a cider distillery. Easy to get around, small, great craft market and good coffee shops.
