This place was absolutely amazing, beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly quiet. Nestled deep in the jungle, it offers a true connection with nature. Exotic birds visit daily, and monkeys stop by, yet you still get the silence and serenity you might be looking for. It is so remote that you will need at least a scooter to get snacks, drinks, and other essentials. It is very private, so it has to be remote enough, but the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable, so you might not even need to leave, though you definitely should, at least to explore. Each morning, you will be treated to a lovely breakfast with an amazing cup of coffee. I have been told that the main beach access has been closed by the owner, but do not worry, the staff has a secret ace up their sleeve. Just five minutes from the villas, there is a hidden private beach where you can have the entire place to yourself. Since this place is in the middle of the jungle, it requires constant maintenance. It is more like an ongoing repair cycle—by the time you finish repairing from point A to point Z, points A to D already need fixing again. That is just the nature of it, and honestly, there is nothing the owner could have done better than keeping up with this never-ending cycle of maintenance. Now, the best part of my stay was the people. I do not even want to call them staff because they are so much more than that. I would rather call them the Host-Family because they treat you like a long-lost relative visiting from abroad. They are the true highlight of this place, even more than the villas themselves. They completely respect your privacy, but if you are open to conversations, you will quickly see how warm and hospitable they truly are. Their kindness and interactions will make your stay unforgettable. Thank you all for these truly beautiful days. I will not provide names since I do not know if they would be okay with it, but you know who you are.

Far exceeded our dreams and expectations… it truly is paradise found and terrific value. The property is a collection of 4 private villas/rooms designed by the same architects behind the world famous Datai hotel that shares the same private, idyllic Datai beach. The small infinity pool is a dream. The family of 3 staff who run it and live onsite couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly - Kenneth, Crisha and Jenny, we salute you and thank you. Kayaks can be hired and Kenneth can help you access the beautifully clean beach and inviting sea (a couple of minute drive or 15 mins walk). We were celebrating my husbands birthday during our stay and Crisha very kindly made a birthday cake - honestly.., this place is amazing… wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We were searching for a place to stay in the Datai area and discovered a hidden villa. With only four rooms, it offers a low-density atmosphere, ensuring a remarkable sense of privacy. The rooms overlook both the ocean and the jungle, and we had access to a private beach where we were the only ones there. While you can't access the beach directly from the villa, it's just a 3-minute drive to the other side of the hotel, as the hotel layout makes direct access a bit challenging. The beach was unquestionably superior to any others in Langkawi. We were genuinely surprised, as it exceeded all our expectations. Ken and Krisya were incredibly helpful. You truly have to experience it for yourself to understand how amazing this place is.

The hotel is superb, great facilities and great staff. People are all very friendly and attentive. The check in procedure is great and easy. The staff explain very everything in detail, the breakfast, the facilities in the hotel and the room. Everyone is proactively to offer help and advice during our stay. The staff in the Langkawi Kitchen is great. Everyday, we have got recommended with their food and drink, don't miss that if you are staying in this hotel. The manager at the Langkawi Kitchen is very sharp and detail minded. He pays attention to every customer in the hotel and he can remember that I have coffee every morning. The yoga trainer proactively invited to the free yoga class. The staff did tell us a lot about Langkawi. The buggy service is great. The room is designed thoughtfully and we like every detail in the room. It's well furnished. The bed is great and comfy. The view is absolutely stunning with great sea view and forest. You can see different species of animals at the balcony which makes you feel that you are a part of the nature. Other than the Langkawi Kitchen, we had our dinner at the Horizon Bar. Great location for dinner with the infinity pool. You can see the most beautiful sunset in there. Drinks and food are nice, even though it's bit pricey. But it's a great experience spending time there. End up, we spent more time in the hotel as you have a lot to explore. The facilities in the hotel are all great, the beach, the gym room.

Our recent 5-night stay at The Danna Langkawi was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a world of elegance and exceptional service that truly sets this hotel apart as one of the best in the world. The design and decoration of The Danna are absolutely stunning, with an elegant blend of colonial charm and modern luxury. Every detail, from the grand lobby to the meticulously designed rooms, exudes sophistication and comfort. The ambiance throughout the hotel is both relaxing and invigorating, making every moment spent here a joy. The staff at The Danna Langkawi deserve special mention for their outstanding service. They were incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring that our stay was perfect. Their hospitality made us feel welcome and valued from start to finish. Each day was filled with delightful experiences, whether we were lounging by the beautiful infinity pool, enjoying the exquisite cuisine at the hotel's restaurants, or simply relaxing in our well-appointed room. The serene beach and lush surroundings provided a perfect backdrop for a truly unforgettable vacation. In summary, our stay at The Danna Langkawi was perfect. I love staying at places that provide home atmosphere and careens. Hosts, Didi and Nanthi, are very caring people. Didi gives a lot of information about things to see, places to eat, and activities to do. You do not spend your time to figure out what to do, you just do. That made our holidays fulfilled, so we could experience all the opportunities of Langkawi. We loved the place and we loved hosts. Real respect for making the best for the guests!

    Secluded villa in the middle of the jungle, stunning beach views from the pool, monkeys in the treetops. Only 15 min walk to Datai private beach. Service of hosts was amazing, Ken and family thanks again! Very friendly, warm people. Totally recommend this for a relaxing, luxury stay in Langkawi. Bonus was the cute housecat Peppito :)

    Impossible not to love the Datai. The private beach is spectacular, as are the rain forest villas. Service is highly polished. Breakfast buffet is about a mile long. Although the Datai is a big hotel there is never the feeling of being crowded, given the good selection of restaurants and seating areas to choose from.

    Super near the famous Datai resort, beautiful beaches, langkawi cable car. Property is really nicely placed in a kampong area. Quiet and away from commercial places. The villa was spacious for two, clean and has most ammenities.
