If heaven on earth exists, then it is the Datai Hotel. Everything in this hotel is aimed at making you relax. Free electric buggy from the lobby to the beach and back. Room with a balcony. On the balcony you can enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the forest. The room is very spacious and cozy. Not just cozy but chic. Robes and flip-flops are a whole separate story. And the bathroom itself with bath accessories, with bath salt and handmade soap. In general, emotions are off the charts. Fruits in the room. Every evening a sweet compliment from the chef. Minibar is included in the price. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel staff does everything so that you do not think about anything but just relax. A huge sandy beach with the cleanest sea water. All the sun loungers on the beach are in the shade of the trees, there is no need to move the umbrella all the time. Also on the beach you can take a kayak and swim to the nearest small island. Also on the beach they periodically give out compliments from the hotel in the form of ice cream and fruit. The food in the Malaysian and Indian cuisine restaurant is very tasty. My wife and I ordered two main courses and a salad and ate too much. You can also have a good dinner in the restaurant in the hotel lobby. This was the first hotel in my life from which I did not want to leave the city in the evening or even leave it at all. The hotel is located right inside the forest. Toucans fly around you and wild monkeys jump on the branches. We took a room with a view of the forest and were not disappointed. From a room with a sea view you also look at the pool. For example, I do not really like looking at the pool. Special thanks to the hotel for the fact that after booking the room they told us that we need to fill out the MDAC form. This form allows you to quickly pass passport control through the SART gate without the participation of a border service employee.

We spent two unforgettable days here. The design of the hotel has a very unique personal style, and there are so many exhibits as if they were in a museum. The scenery is very beautiful. You can forget your troubles here. You just need to relax. Ken and Crisha are very nice people. They are cheerful, enthusiastic and talkative. Guests who come here will definitely feel their enthusiasm and thoughtful service. The food here is very good. They have an outstanding chef. Btw we also kayaked, which was a very interesting experience. In short, I sincerely recommend everyone to come here to experience it.

We were searching for a place to stay in the Datai area and discovered a hidden villa. With only four rooms, it offers a low-density atmosphere, ensuring a remarkable sense of privacy. The rooms overlook both the ocean and the jungle, and we had access to a private beach where we were the only ones there. While you can't access the beach directly from the villa, it's just a 3-minute drive to the other side of the hotel, as the hotel layout makes direct access a bit challenging. The beach was unquestionably superior to any others in Langkawi. We were genuinely surprised, as it exceeded all our expectations. Ken and Krisya were incredibly helpful. You truly have to experience it for yourself to understand how amazing this place is.

From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a world of elegance and exceptional service that truly sets this hotel apart as one of the best in the world. The design and decoration of The Danna are absolutely stunning, with an elegant blend of colonial charm and modern luxury. Every detail, from the grand lobby to the meticulously designed rooms, exudes sophistication and comfort. The ambiance throughout the hotel is both relaxing and invigorating, making every moment spent here a joy. The staff at The Danna Langkawi deserve special mention for their outstanding service. They were incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring that our stay was perfect. Their hospitality made us feel welcome and valued from start to finish. Each day was filled with delightful experiences, whether we were lounging by the beautiful infinity pool, enjoying the exquisite cuisine at the hotel's restaurants, or simply relaxing in our well-appointed room. The serene beach and lush surroundings provided a perfect backdrop for a truly unforgettable vacation. In summary, our stay at The Danna Langkawi was perfect. Such a friendly welcoming place to stay. Super clean and lovely garden. Excellent value for money. It felt like we were part of Didi and Nanthi’s family. Omelette for breakfast I will never forget. Very close to airport and to Telega harbour if going to Koh lipe. Will be returning next week for more happiness.

    Secluded villa in the middle of the jungle, stunning beach views from the pool, monkeys in the treetops. Only 15 min walk to Datai private beach. Service of hosts was amazing, Ken and family thanks again! Very friendly, warm people. Totally recommend this for a relaxing, luxury stay in Langkawi. Bonus was the cute housecat Peppito :)

    Impossible not to love the Datai. The private beach is spectacular, as are the rain forest villas. Service is highly polished. Breakfast buffet is about a mile long. Although the Datai is a big hotel there is never the feeling of being crowded, given the good selection of restaurants and seating areas to choose from.

    Super near the famous Datai resort, beautiful beaches, langkawi cable car. Property is really nicely placed in a kampong area. Quiet and away from commercial places. The villa was spacious for two, clean and has most ammenities.

    The efforts at sustainability are really paying off. The nature is amazing and the hotel does a great job enhancing the rainforest experience. Also, the breakfast is delightful.
