This accommodation looked like a castle from a fairy tale. Very quiet and peaceful environment. Nice clean rooms, terrace with a beautiful view. The pool is also a big plus, although I didn't have time to take a bath because I was exploring the surroundings and the ocean. It's a bit further from San Juan del sur, but the very helpful and friendly Alvaro drove me to town and back. A short walk away is a beautiful quiet beach with a great bar and food.

Highly recommend staying at Buena Onda. Baba was super welcoming from the very first minute and makes you feel at home. Celine’s breakfasts are out of this world and really made my morning every day. Both of them were amazing hosts. The hostel is super clean, has an amazing view and outdoor/coworking area. The rooms are super spacious and stay cool during the night. Excellent value for money. Can’t wait to visit again.

The water slide, pools. and diving area were incredible. Food was excellent with good options. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the location nestled away in nature. Grounds are stunning. And of course the "standard king room" is a full size suite / 1 bedroom apt!
