First of all, I’d like to mention the host — she was such a kind and lovely lady. We arrived on a rainy, stormy evening, and she was extremely helpful. She even brought us an extra heater right away when we asked. The house was beautifully decorated — cozy, charming, and had everything we could possibly need. The complimentary chocolates and drinks from the host were a thoughtful touch and made our rainy day so much nicer.

Absolutely lovely place and hotel, great location for a weekend getaway. The classic room was fantastic with view overlooking the garden and the lake. Everything was absolutely perfect and better than I expected. The palace itself is amazing for photos. All staff was friendly and very helpful.

We had travelled to Netherlands for our honeymoon. We had booked a stay at Botiquue Hotel Zaan. But we were unable to check in there. Since it was king's day the next day we were unable to get any availability. Last moment we found boutique hotel 43. Here the hosts are a wonderful couple. They were really really kind. Understood our situation and helped us through out. The place was neat, stay was pleasant, they also suggested us many eateries and places to visit. Thank you so much to both of you.     It is the people that make your stay unforgettable - and thanks to Sophie, we'll remember staying in Assendelft for a long time. Sophie prepared for us breakfast to go, which was actually like a normal breakfast. We were warmly welcomed, even though we were only there for one night. The room is beautifully, tastefully furnished, with attention to detail.

    Nice room, a little expensive for the type of room it was but Amsterdam is very expensive. It is about 30 minutes by train away from Amsterdam Centraal and a 15 minute walk from Krommenie-Assendelft train station.
