It is on an interesting island served by a short ferry journey which runs 24 hours. Kaag Island has a village on it (Kaag), which although having an enormous ship yard, is a quiet traditional village with thatched cottages, a hotel, and bar/restaurants looking over the lake. He found a secure place to store my bike which was good. The room was comfortable and clean and all anyone could ask for. The room tariff was very good value compared to other hotels we've stayed at.
