House of Ellie was fantastic. It is located at the end of a fjord so the anpartment and bedroom window looks across the fjord. We were there for almost midnight sun and Ellie set up chairs for us outside when we arrived. Spectacular views. It’s also located next to our favourite Tromso cafe. The room was very clean, extremely comfortable and had a fridge. Ellie was so helpful and very responsive to messages. We liked it so much that we’ve booked again for our return to Tromso in a few weeks.

Perfect cozy place to escape from urban trouble. Generously equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room. The wooden interior combined with the big glass fronts is wonderful - you can see the aurora even from inside (if you are lucky)
