    This is a surprisingly good Scandic hotel. The breakfast is excellent, the rooms are spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. Perfect location in case you need to catch the ferry to Strömstad the next morning.

    I arrived in Oslo Sandefjord Torp by plane, in the airport we took a taxi to reach this beautiful location. The hotel was absolutely amazing, the reception team was very kind, helpful and nice, we ask them a lot of question and they helped us very much, the room was amazing, from our window we can see McDonald's, near the hotel was a Shell gas station and a supermarket. The bed was very comfortable, wifi was working great and the breakfast was absolutely delicious and various (salmon, mackerel, fruits, cereals, cheese, salami, etc ). The reception area is very cosy with that fireplace, i was in love with this location. The garden area was nice as well, with grass, flowers and some trees. From 1 to 10, i would give you 20 :)

    House is amaizing! Very cozy and comfortable. It has garden and backyard with a very cute porch. Everything is so clean and hosts were very hospitable and friendly. Even if there is shared bathroom we had our privacy, and we feel like we were home. This place is perfect for bigger group of people, and hopefully we will visit again, but now to stay longer. :)

    The people of Norway are friendly and warm.

    The people of Norway are friendly and warm. Their respect for each other shines through. It is a family-friendly place. You can walk to venues in the centre. The James Clark pub was the best bar we visited.

    Beautiful little town, excellent shops for some browsing.

    Beautiful little town, excellent shops for some browsing. Food shops are good too with lots of variety. There’s E-Scooters everywhere which makes travelling a breeze. If your into nature, this is a great place to go. There’s lots of different hikes and trails, we spent a long time getting lost in the cliffs on sunny days. Very easy train station, with access to Oslo main in less than 2 hours. Food prices are good and there’s lots of places to eat if you want. Locals speak English and are very accommodating. Definitely would love to go back!

    Sandefjord is very much a working, functional port town with...

    Sandefjord is very much a working, functional port town with good marina facilities for leisure boaters. There are plenty of options to dine out and have a stroll around the harbour/port area, but it is not really big on tourism as such, which is probably not a bad thing. If you are driving, the links to the major routes are easy to follow, and of course you have the ferry port for travelling over to Sweden.

    Sandefjord is really cute and cosy town next to the water. Great place to spend a night or two. Everything in the town you can reach on feet. You can do some shopping, there are great places to have a meal or a drink.

    Very good location just five minutes away from Torp airport.

    Very good location just five minutes away from Torp airport. Also bus are frequent if you are going to big shopping malls. Norwegians are friendly and nice also helpful to tourists like us if we want to go places and need to catch the bus My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Sandefjord. Norway you are amazing!

    The location was fabulous and our room had a view of both the park and the harbour. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. I left a note on the bed asking if I could have an extra pillow after the first night and when we returned from Oslo, extra pillows had been left. Despite there being a number of functions, we didn't hear a thing once we were in bed.

    This hotel is in a large car park next to a drive-through MacDonalds and a large supermarket. It is 4km from Torp airport which can only be reached by taxi (250K on Sunday). The bus from Horton ferry terminal (#1) stops right outside hotel which was convenient for us. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast OK with good variety of items.

    I loved there! The hotel is a unique hotel in the centre of Sandefjord, if you want to spend the night in an historical surroundings is the perfect hotel for you. It is very romantic, very clean and the breakfast is perfect. I ate salmon and eggs in the morning, and I am Italian so am not used to it! However I enjoyed my breakfast!

    First impresion about Norway was this wonderful accomodation, at Mikael. Near to the airport, quiet and so cosy! Coming from a crowd city, it was a breath of fresh air. I recommend! I'd like to spend more days on the terrase next time.

    The shower was fabulous, halllway and bathroom spacious. Modern decor, looked newly refurbished. Appliances that were there worked well.
