(Would give more points if I could!) Our stay at this apartment was absolutely PERFECT. The two bedrooms each have very comfortable beds, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The location is beautiful and peaceful, just a one-minute walk from the bus stop that takes you directly into Ålesund city center. But what truly made this stay unforgettable was our wonderful host, Synnøve. She is the sweetest host we have ever met. When we arrived, she had prepared the table with bread, cheese, and even wine and beer. The fridge was stocked with everything we could possibly need for breakfast—yogurt, butter, cheese, eggs, bacon—and there was even ice cream waiting in the freezer! She also left us thoughtful welcome cards and snacks, which made us feel instantly at home. On top of that, when a local news announcement warned about bacteria in the tap water, Synnøve immediately informed us and, the very same day, delivered a whole basket of bottled water, soda, and extra treats right to our door. Synnøve’s kindness, care, and attention to detail went far beyond our expectations. We felt so welcomed and looked after from the very first moment. This was by far one of the best hosting experiences we’ve ever had. Highly, recommended !

Great breakfast, so many different choices! The room is clean, cosy and has more than everything you need: hand and body lotion, teas. Great staff, we were able to leave our luggage for the day. Just in the city centre, next to the Hurtigruten/Havila wharf!

The "Parken" hotel might look a big like a klutz from the outside - but inside, it's very modern, airy, spacious and comfortable. The room had a wonderful view of the ocean - how much more can you ask for? The location is superb - centrally located as can be, anything within max. 10 minute walk. There's a parking garage under the hotel (with direct access to the lobby - very convenient with heavy suitcases!). Breakfast is plentiful, varied and very tasty - as always in Scandinavia. The staff was both professional and very friendly and approachable at the same time. All in all : this is really hard to top !

Cozy and pleasant room with sea view. Very friendly staff. A micro-shop right at the reception desk, so you can buy water, ice cream, cup noodles or coffee right there. An eclectic interior that mixes both modern clean Scandinavian look and old wooden elements. Top-notch breakfast, big choice of dishes for everyone, including lactose and gluten free options. And a pretty decent coffee that you can take away, this is good especially on sunny days, because the breakfast cafe has a big outside are with sea view. It is located basically at the city center, so you can explore everything on foot. All fjord marine sightseeing activities are also located nearby.

    The position is great if you want to stay close to the...

    The position is great if you want to stay close to the airport and walk around. You can catch a bus to/from the airport and to/from main town, you can also walk up to the hill, to the ferry and on the bridge. In the right season, you can also hire a bike. The room has everything that you might need, considering that you are planning to pass your day out. The supermarket and the restaurant are very handy as well.

    In general it was a good stay.

    In general it was a good stay. Easy to find the place and get keys. The natural view around the residence was very beautiful. The pictures on the booking page about access to the beach are not the same on site. There was no access to the beach. Need litle bit more concentration on higienic standards. Thank You It was naice place for family.

    Beware of the fine print when booking your room for the low...

    Beware of the fine print when booking your room for the low discount price at Alesund Airport Hotel. Instead of a room in the actual hotel building, our room was in a little structure across the parking lot called the Mini Hotel. Our room was tiny and cramped with no place to put our luggage except the beds or the floor. I was unable to upgrade to a regular room so not happy with the checkin staff. One last thing, the Hotel is actually 10 minutes or several Kilometers from the airport.

    It's a little strange hotel. The building has a supermarket, a restaurant, a hotel, and finally a physician's office. However, it is located on an island, which is very quiet, and you can take a small drive nearby to feel the north wind and see the North Atlantic Ocean. You have a public restaurant, and they offer free coffee in a small living room on the hotel floor, which is nice. It is not a fancy hotel, it is a simple one, but works well.

    The staff Liene is excellence and very helpful. She booked the bus ticket from hotel to airport for me. She was double checking with her friend that the bus would come to pick me up at 5am. I had enough time for security checking for my flight @6:20am. The airport bus FB65 stops at the front of the hotel.

    Clean Hotel in good location on Valderoya Island. Perfect breakfast with wide choice of dishes. Nice staff (eg. polish waitress Angelika). Every day room was cleaned with towels change. In this same building is supermarket Kiwi opened from 7am to 23pm
