The accommodation is very new and facilities within are installed very smartly; like lighting system was perfectly installed and awesome decoration. Balcony was so perfect with outdoor furniture, and the view was so mesmerising. Bed was very comfortable and clean. very great breakfast, rooftop swimming pool and the view from it was so wide and perfect.

Super Location and really amazing and friendly staff. We felt like home. The service is very good, rooms are very clean and quiet. Hot water and hot hairdryer in every room. The food was fresh, authentic and delicious.

We had the deluxe room with balcony, which was very spacious. The bed was enormous!, Great staff with a very helpful travel desk. Breakfast was better than at the other 2 hotels we stayed at in Kathmandu. Short walk to Thamel on a quiet street. Lovely view from the top, in-house spa and a small gym, restaurant/bar also with views (we didn't eat there though). Overall, excellent. I would come again if in Kathmandu.

Our stay at Hotel Yambu was fantastic and memorable. Their warm and attentive service made us feel right at home. They were especially patient and caring with my parents, who were senior citizens, which made a huge difference in our overall experience. Breakfast was simple but good. Kathmandu is bustling and alive, with plenty of trekking shops that offers Excellent gear at an excellent price, you will find EVERYTHING you need here. Durbar Square is cool, and if you can handle it the Pashupatinath Temple on the banks of Bagmati River - Crematoria is worth a visit. Restaurants overall are pretty good offerring a wide range of Western, Nepalese and Indian Cuisine. The shopping for local crafts and Cashmere are Great... .

An exciting, vibrant city full of interest, lovely people and good food. Felt very safe. Also very cheap, £20 a night for two people in a good hotel. In Pokhara, after a twelve day trek we stayed in the smartest hotel I’ve every stayed in, right posh it was, pool, sauna, massage, etc all for £60 a night for two people. Napal generally is a very good option for holiday. While the initial flights are expensive, fly via Delhi takes about 13 hours and costs roughly £1000, once you’re there it’s very cheap with lots to do. Best suited for those people looking for an active holiday trekking, guided mountaineer, water sports, mountain biking, and temple ticking. A European holiday from Europe is cheap to get there but food and accommodation are expensive. Napal is expensive to get there but very cheap once you’re there. I’m 67 years old, this trip was my swan song my final big mountain exploit ! Well stuff that, it’s fired me up, I’m going back next spring, thanks Nepal.

Kathmandu kind of dusty city, you may wear face mask. If you need to buy something, you probably need NPR. I found hard to change back from NPR to US dollars. Better to change USD to NPR just enough to buy what you’re looking to buy. Hotel and some coffee shops taking credit cards.

I had an absolutely excellent experience here! The place is stunning, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful — always attentive to every need. I’d especially like to mention Shiva and the front desk team for their outstanding service. They truly went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

People in Kathmandu are friendly and helpful. The weather was fair for this time of year. A lot to see and take in. Shopping, eating all the very delicious Mo Mo soaking in Jhol. All the Temples, Shrines, breathtaking mountains views, and of course Mount Everest.

Some part of loads were not paved so sometimes like rush hour the air becomes so dusty due to so many cars and buses. Some restaurants would charge some extra fee if you offer to pay by credit card. cash would be better in a local restaurant.

The rooms were clean and beds was comfortable. Its near airport so its easier for travellers and best option for staying while travelling. Small family run budget hotel in a very convenient location on a quiet lane in north-west Thamel. Rooms are small and simple but comfortable enough. The staff are all very friendly and do their best to help you out during your stay. Of all the places I've stayed in Thamel by far the quietest and for the price represents excellent value for money!
