My relative came and took us to Riverton nice drive We went to Matura and Gore long drive very nice country side. We had gone to the Oyster Festival in Bluff on Saturday and...
We had gone to the Oyster Festival in Bluff on Saturday and decided to stay Sunday as well so we could visit Riverton and Oreti Beach. We experienced the most stunning weather in Invercargill and spend the afternoon in the fabulous Queens Park. What an asset to the city. We ate at the cafe there and enjoyed all the gardens and the wonderful new Tuatara Space. We walked to town for a spot of shopping followed by drinks at the newest hotel. The historic buildings. Friendly shop assistants. Very easy to drive around. The historic Invercargill Club in 32 Don Street is well worth a visit for adults without children for a drink and a meal. Beverley Small, the bubbly general manager, and the other members will welcome you there wholeheartedly, once and if a member has kindly signed you in.
