Amazing, personal place where one is well treated. They have nice infra red sauna and massage chair. I enjoyed both twice on two days stay. Furniture is and all other staff around is so great.

We had a great stay at Rata Lodge. The house is charming (with a magnificent view of mount cook ;) ), the kitchen is very well equipped. The hosts made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of advice on nearby walks. I recommend it and will gladly return.

Pete's Place really is the prettiest little house we have ever seen. The garden is beautiful and lovingly laid out; the interior is surprisingly modern and very tastefully furnished. We were all particularly impressed by the bathroom. The equipment was very good, we had all we needed. Everything is clean and in top condition. In our opinion, Pete's Place is the ideal accommodation for 2-3 people on site.
