Had a wonderful stay at Te Karaka Lodge, Aaron and Danielle were amazing hosts and Franz cooked very delicious food! It is isolated out in the countryside and exactly what we were looking for some time to unwind, it was amazing to see all the stars as we luckily has clear sky's our second night. Everything is new and a high standard, beautiful design inside. We also loved Steve the friendly cat.

This is the perfect place if you are looking for a quiet family vacation! The staff were so friendly and helpful, you can walk to the black sand beaches and the dunes, sunset beach is close as well as some incredible hiking trails. We had such a lovely, relaxing holiday here.

Every aspect of this homestay is absolutely lovely. The home has beautiful interior decor and the hosts are so welcoming and accommodating. Take the time to appreciate the beautiful aspects of their home, and have you feel like this is a home away from home for their guests. Great facilities, nice and private and only about 10-12 minutes from Tuakau it's a great location to stay. If you are fortunate enough to be offered a traditional Indian tea to drink I highly recommend saying yes.

The view is absolutely stunning. We could have spent the whole stay sitting there and watching the ocean. The room itself is very comfortable and has all you need. The personnel was caring and very nice. Absolutely recommend this resort for a calm, relaxing and breathtaking stay.

Set on 2 acres of lovely gardens, Waiuku Motel is 2 minutes' walk from cafes, shops and restaurants in Waiuku township.

The property was very clean, decently equipped (kitchen stuff, toiletries, towels) even though we only paid a little.

Friendly reception and our room was private and quiet. There was a lovely area under a tree near our room which was very relaxing to sit under. We slept very well in a very comfy bed. Our stay was exactly what we needed after quite a long flight.
