This comfortable guesthouse was perfectly positioned in Queenstown yet still quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was lovely and quite generous, the never-ending lolly bar was very welcome as was the free mini bar but the highlight was afternoon drinks - such a lovely opportunity to meet fellow guests over a wine or beer and delicious snacks. The staff are friendly and welcoming

Queenstown is definitely geared to catering for tourists,...

Queenstown is definitely geared to catering for tourists, especially for those who are adventure seeking. However it is still suitable as a destination for those who are happy to just walk around the Botanical Gardens, enjoy the views over Lake Wakatipu or go for a scenic ride on the steamship TSS Earnslaw. We usually end our trips to NZ's South Island with staying in Queenstown just to wind down, enjoy nice meals accompanied by local wines, and going for strolls around town.

It is a place in New Zealand you must visit.

It is a place in New Zealand you must visit. It is expensive so even if your budget only gives you 2 days stay you need to experience it. We (older) went skiing, Luge and gondola and river cruise. The younger family members went on the jet boats, bike riding in Arrowtown, parkrun and ice bar.

The rooms were so lovely with a great view of remarkable park mountains. A very hotel style room, however was very clean and lovely and the washing machine/dryer in the room is a massive bonus. The room was nice and clean and perfect for a couple nights. While it may be a 15 minute drive from Queenstown central city it was a much more affordable option and still had beautiful views.

Good location, easy walk from town centre. Most buses for queenstown activities can pick up from stops just outside the hotel. Clean room with good shower, comfy bed and a beautiful view. Also super convenient that they have a heated ski gear room so no need to bring wet gear back to the room!

The hotel is centrally located in Queenstown, close to several bus stops, restaurants and activity centres. While the room was a bit small for a group of 4, the bathroom was spacious and clean. The heater in the room was a lifesaver in winter temperatures.
