Staying here was the biggest gift I could give to myself. Cynthia and Ben are extremely helpful and know just the right people in Iquitos. The cabin has everything you could ask for and the bed is very comfortable. Their dog welcomes you and I was lucky enough to see Ben feed the monkeys. A little paradise in the jungle with amazing internet! Would highly recommend staying here

I’ve stayed one week in the wonderful Guacamayo Azul integrating my journeys in the jungle, and seriously, I have no words how amazing this place is! The house is luxurious, huge comfortable main bedroom, fully equipped kitchen where I felt I could cook as if I was back home. The pool is another sort of privilege; calm and safe location, comparing to the rest of Iquitos. Julio, the housekeeper, would help me with absolutely everything I needed - driving me to do buy groceries, help around the house, even accompanying me to explore the local area’s gems so I don’t feel uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. A special thanks to him! The house is massive and would fit a company up to 8 people, but also it’s an incredible stay for a solo person, who seeks quietness and solitude, like in my case. I truly appreciate my time in Guacamayo Azul, and it only leaves me to wonder why it’s not yet fully booked. I wish you that!

Beautiful, cozy and quiet homestay - we loved the pool, comfy beds and having a fully equipped kitchen. We had the place to ourselves for the night which was lovely. Highly recommend for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of Iquitos - but you’ll need to either cook or a get a Mototaxi into town for food and supplies, which was no problem for us.

I really really enjoyed to be here! Wonderful place, you are literally living in the river, which is supernice, you can chill in the hammock listening nature, or you can paddle around the area! The people who running the place are sooo kind and beautiful people! They are really helpful with everything, and the food is exceptional! There's so much love in the place, I really really liked it, and I will definitely come back sometime! :))

Wilson couldn’t have done more to help make our stay comfortable. He helped with every aspect, even collecting us from the airport in his own car because I had a foot injury and couldn’t get around easily. Breakfast was good, there was aircon on request and free bottled water.

The room was basic, but good for the price. The garden was amazing, and the owner very helpful with everithing, like info for my city trips or with the launderies. The shower and toilet was outside, but clean and no problem with this. The design of the house was really authentic
