The Apartment close to the town center 3-5 min walk and 10 min walk from the train station, very good location. The Apartment very clean, comfortable and modern it was better than I expected and very well equipped. Even it's a bit far from the centre, we couldn't complain. To the centre is just 10nins by car. Just by the hotel there is a gas station, where you have usually breakfast and it's part of it. The ladies (staff) were super nice and the breakfast was awesome, very rich and yummy. The location is also perfect for small kids because not far away there is a playground. If you are looking for dinner or lunch, there is a hotel just across, where you can eat. Nothing fancy, but still good. Rooms were very clean and quite big, bed was just fantastic.

Quiet town with a lot of history.

Quiet town with a lot of history. Good restaurants many round the main town square. Bus travel is a bit limited due to there schedule but taxis are plentiful and travel in them cheap compared to England. Inability to speak Polish not a hindrance as many people in the hospitality industry speak English and will advise on food and drink choices if asked. But if you want to explore the surrounding area a car is essential.

Charming Leszno old town is a hidden treasure, worth taking time to explore on foot nearby basilica, palace, parks, "starowka", tree lined alleys, and taste delicious pierogi best in town at "pierogalnia", warming spicy tea at "lu lu cafe".

Leszno is a pleasant town with a striking main square.

Leszno is a pleasant town with a striking main square. Cafes are in short supply (the main chains haven't reached here and independents only partially fill the gap. The Leszno walk (from the Tourist Office) was fine. I had a return trip by rail to Glogow and walked to Swieciechova and back, but even so 3 nights was probably one too many.

Everything was pretty much great.

Everything was pretty much great. It was a smallish room but for the great price and nice location it was good enough to make me happy. I did not get to see much of the town as my back was hurting so I just stayed in my room except to go to the LIDL store which was about 2 minutes away. They also had the Ibuprophen I needed and it was up near the checkout stand.

For its size, Leszno has quite a sizable offer of Summer...

For its size, Leszno has quite a sizable offer of Summer festivals. It's green enough and laid back. Good number of attractions for children (mini zoo, WMB, new playgrounds, etc.) It's city center has quite the offer of restaurants with a couple of hip places. It's easy to get around town either by bike or car.

I did not expect so much from the hotel at first booking, however I was very very surprised with appearance of hotel, room and restaurant. The food was delicious, I could say the same about the breakfast. I will definitely stay there again, soon...

We wanted to sleep not far from Poznan airport, so we decided to stop in this nice B&B, easily accessible by car, in the small town of Leszno, near to the main square. There is a secure parking behind the house and the guardian will give you the room key. The parking, always open, is included. Our room was very large, clean, silent, comfortable. Breakfast was good and quite rich. Price honest.
