This is one of the best guest houses I have ever visited! The rooms were really stylish with big and comfy beds, the kitchen had every sort of tool you need to prepare a tasty dinner, the terrace had a wonderful view. The house is situated in a really peaceful region in the hills and it is certainly one of those places where you can take a glass of wine, watch the sunset and take some time for yourself. I would definitely visit it again! Obrigado!

Our stay in this house has been lovely. We really appreciated the fruits, the jams and the wine found at our arrival, the heating system (not very common in Portugal, so we were very grateful), the cleaning of the whole house. The space outside was very welcoming and nice, but we didn't use it much because the weather was a bit cold. We recommend it very much!

It’s exactly as expected, even more!! Of course the windmill is very picturesque himself, but the view it’s amazing, and the host is the absolute best! Always available and ready to help! When you think of such a location, you’d think of driving in a stone path without lights : they have indeed a very comfortable path and you can reach it by car and park almost in front of your mill. The windmill is very clean and every detail is promptly selected to match the whole setting of the country style. In your windmill, you’ll find everything you need in order to prepare a breakfast to enjoy on the back of the windmill, enjoying the valley, wind and sunrise. We were sad because we just stayed 2 nights!! Highly suggested ✨

Lots of choice from cooked breakfast to fresh fruit, cereals, breads, yoghurt, meats & cheeses. Hotel was as the name i.e. rural location which is why we chose it. Beautiful scenery and very peaceful overlooking the river. Rooms large with lovely outlook, with all having their own balconies. WiFi connected instantly. Staff all very friendly and helpful, especially Antonio when we arrived after midnight he made us a cup of tea and gave us some cake as he could see we'd had a difficult journey. Housekeeping was very efficient.

Enjoyed the remote location. Enjoyed the bath in the Suite room. Sunset was beautiful and Hotel has a restaurant that has good food options too. Breakfast was good enough, since it was included in the stay. Had a small assortment of bakery goods, had also a crepe machine, which I wasn't eager to personally use. Juices from concentrated solutions and hot drinks. Workers seemed fairly nice. They informed us they have a pool and a spa available to guests, you must book with reception prior to using.

This hotel was absolutely perfect, exactly what we needed for a relaxing couple of days during our Porto to Faro road trip. Our large corner room had panoramic views over the lake, the spa facilities included pool, sauna and hammam and were most welcome. The restaurant made excellent Portuguese cuisine and genuine cocktails. The external pool was immaculately clean and the staff both efficient and friendly.

Very nice little hotel, with very good breakfast included. The restaurant was also good. Didn't use the swimming pool but it looked nice and clean. The view from the bedroom and restaurant was incredible (although it included parts of the highway).
