The hotel was gorgeous, peaceful, and charming. Cristina and Francisco were so welcoming and lovely - it was a real bonus of the trip to get to know them! Our family felt so taken care of and we were able to really relax. I was a little nervous about bothering other guests as we had a newborn baby, two small kids and a dog with us, but everyone was really open and kind, and it was fun getting to chat a bit with others staying there! Very family friendly, beautiful setting, and dinner on site was an unexpected perk, as was the host's relationship with a local wine distillery that gave us a fascinating tour and a tasting. Thank you so much for an amazing vacation!

Very welcoming and charming host. Place is very nice to stay at, located a bit further away, middle of nowhere but offering such a pretty place to be and enjoy holiday. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night, would have lived to be there longer! Room had everything one needs, lobby area ia amazingly pretty, common areas so functional and good that one can enjoy every minute of the stay. There is a lovely pool and even a yaguzzi next to that for guests use. Simply a treasure to find!

Huge house with two living rooms and three bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms - a very comfortable option for two families. Antique Portuguese house in excellent condition with vintage furniture. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Conveniently located for travel to Aviero, Bussaco, Coimbra, Alianca Underground Museum.

The hospitality of the owner is on the top level. When you arrive at the Mill, you feel like you arrived in a fairy tale. It feels like you are out of civilization, as it is only the Mill and nothing around you. The photos cannot describe the house, really magical. Every cm of the house is very clean and well maintained. We are a family of 4 and it was more than enough space for us, we didn't even use one of the bedrooms. The sunset views are spectacular. We enjoyed our short stay a lot, we would love to be back there :) thanks to Antonio a lot for the wonderful hospitality and this unique experience!

The hosts were simply amazing. Very kind, polite, helpful and discreet. I felt at home. Lots of privacy in their property. The room was spacious, very clean, tidy and extremely comfortable with an amazing AC. Clean and soft linen and towels. Toiletries available. There's a lovely balcony with beautiful countryside view at the entrance. They helped me with tips about the place I wanted to visit and provided me a phone number of a local taxi driver. The breakfast was close to perfection with local bread and fruit. The attention to detail is amazing providing some take away groceries on fair price. Very thoughtful of the travellers they host. And the special touch was on my arrival when they literally rescued me at the train station. Angels.

If you would like to step back into La Belle Epoque, then look no further. This wonderful accommodation, rich in ambience and steeped in 19th century charm will satisfy. The building itself is magnificent and the room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We appreciated the complimentary Luso water and fell in love with the view from our balcony. The staff were friendly, professional and did everything to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We stayed for one night only and I wish we could have stayed longer! I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you appreciate antiques and history.

5 stars Hotel with a 5 star Restaurant. Very, very good experience, in a building full of history. The building is amazing surrounded by kilometers and kilometers of forest and a monestary. You sleep in one century of history. The restaurant was amazing and the breakfast wonderfull.
