Staff is enthusiastic, helpful. Shows initiative, speaks multiple languages, is very knowledgeable about town and the island. Room is quiet, very clean, very comfortable. There was some construction next door where the swimming pool was being completed, but it was walled off and inside you didn't hear a thing. Since it opened only 3 weeks ago it's obvious everything looks great, but the theme of books, writers and poets, the wall art, really makes the hotel. The public spaces are cosy with easy chairs with a good selection of English books. While the hotel does not have a bar (yet?) they offered free coffee, cappucino and water.

This is a newly opened hotel with a beautiful interior and superb customer service. All the staff were very kind and welcoming, happy to help with any requests. Beatriz kindly organised a late check out for us which we greatly appreciated and special thanks to Jose who was particularly friendly and made us feeling very welcome. Very big room with a spacious bathroom and living room zone. The location is very central and close to all restaurants and bars. Very good breakfast in the morning, with a big selection of cakes that change every morning. The hotel has a big parking lot right next to it where guests can park the car. We had a great time at the hotel, which was all we needed. Would recommend it.

Hotel Monte Brasil is nicely situated in Angra do Heroísmo close to cafes, restaurants, and boutique shops. only a 3- 4 minute walk to the center of the city and botanical gardens, and ocean views a 10 minute walk to the beach. The hotel staff were friendly, pleasant, helpful, and informative. we enjoyed our stay and definitely will be returning guests for another stay at Hotel Monte Brasil when we return to this lovely Island of Terceira and Heritage City of Angra do Heroísmo We highly recommend Hotel Monte Brasil for the it's comfort, charm, location, and price.
