The location, remote village, the decoration and attention to detail. Beautiful house with a small balcony and everything needed to cook and eat in for a family of 4. Kids had the breakfast on offer in the morning and loved it. Very friendly and welcoming host.

The owners are very kind, helpful and nice. Their hospitaly is proverbial. The Madame prepares an art for eating and her food of art can bee seen and is very eatable, with one word, amazing. The couple also produce delicious wine, oranges, mandarines, olives. My car war broken down and they helped me to find solution. Mr. owner brought a mehanic to see my car and the next day I was able to drive further. All this property has a soul, because the wooden interial equipment is made with love. Food, Cosy fire place with the real wood stocks, clean and nice prepared beds, excellent food. Just for lovers of life. To get some rest after the dinner or breakfast, there is always back side music, a library with the plenty of books in different languages and wiev on the garden, wineyards. But now in October Orange and the lemon trees are full of fruits. The harvest will be wealty. They also have a small pound with gold fishes, two free-living chickens and of course two dogs.

Very mordern hotel with all the facilities, exceptional view on the Tejo and Portas do Rodoa. Free entrance for the (muncipal, public) swimming pool. The restaurant is also good and cheap. The staff is very helpful and warm.

Facing the beachfront in Gavião, Alamal River Club has a seasonal outdoor pool and a shared lounge. The accommodation offers luggage storage space and free WiFi throughout the property.

Stunning location and the rooms are old but just to my liking. Restaurant over the road was great. Its on the river and has a proper beach.

Quiet beautiful location, spacious and comfortable house with all the amenities! The owner was very friendly and helpful, letting us check in a bit earlier and leaving some coffee and cookies for us. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back. Great value for money, specially for bigger groups or families.

The house is comfortable and properly equipped (for example, a matching set of good glasses, which is rare). The bed (we only used the one double bedroom) is comfortable, with nice sheets, and the environment is quiet. The spaces are good, and it's a nicely modernised typical Alentejan house. The rear patio has a lovely outlook. Charlène is a communicative and friendly host, making sure one has everything, including information; and the wine she can sell, from a small, local producer is very good.
