great location, 50 meters to beach, 3 km to airport , you can reach by bus / scooter / uber, minimarket close, parking directly at the house, beach + bars next to it, great walks to beach + along the peninsula. the stuff was great; I made some ideas regardimng back yard, door, security, beach acess, electricoty, + they managed that same day, outstanding. great local manager + cleaning stuff, all from brasis + all very nice + helpful. Bath + kitchen was all fine. Accoring to older reviews, there is NO mold or rost n the rooms, alltough estate is exposed to the ocean. wifi was ok.

The location of this apartment is perfect - literally beside the beach. It is well presented and comfortable with cafes, restaurants and amenities close by. Praia de Faro is a lovely place to relax, close to the airport and with good bus and ferry connections to Faro town. BLife staff really helped to make our stay the best that they could. They were very quick to reply to any questions or comments. Their housekeeping staff were very thorough and attentive so deserve special mention.

We had a truly lovely stay at Solar Mendonça. The location is excellent – right in the center of Faro, just a short walk from the ferry terminal, the bus station, and many great local restaurants and cafés. Despite being so central, the place is peaceful and feels like a calm retreat. The rooms were spotless and tastefully decorated, with very comfortable mattresses. We appreciated the extra pillows and blankets provided in the room. The bathroom was well-equipped, especially for female travelers – shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion were all available and of good quality. Communication with the hotel management was outstanding. Everything was prepared in advance – we received all the access codes for the building and the room ahead of time, and we each had two key cards, which was very convenient. There’s also a rooftop terrace where you can sunbathe or relax. Although we didn’t use it much because we were mostly at the beach, we noticed the hotel thoughtfully provides special towels for the sun loungers. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. It’s a cozy, clean, and well-run place that feels like home in the heart of Faro.
