The house is beautiful, both inside and outside, located in a picturesque spot, with the perfect view, 5 mins walk downhill to a lovely beach by the river and a romantic coffee-bar. It was like a little heaven - a place you fantasize to be at. The owner was warm, helpful and friendly. We will defenetly be back one day! Wish it could be tomorrow :)

The moment we arrived we fell in love with this property. We were met by Maria who helped locate us when we got lost on the wrong road (our own doing by some poor navigation ) and she helped guide us to the property. The house is modern, immaculately clean with all the amenities and utensils you require. Both bedrooms have large ensuites and exceeded our expectations of the size depicted in photos. The outdoor cooking area also looks wonderful however we didn’t get time to utilise it on our stay. The pool overlooking the vineyard is just magical. We made this our base to discover the area and then didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect place to relax and feel guilt free about not venturing out for the day as it was so beautiful. We were fortunate to be there when they were harvesting the grapes in the vineyards below and were so grateful to be invited to participate and join in for a lunch. It was the highlight of our whole Portugal trip.

Excellent location with a really nice view to the river. Rooms very clean and well decorated - some of the things where a bit outdated in terms of style (like bathrooms) but very clean and well maintaned.

    It is a beautiful and peaceful place, but impossible to move without a car (or taxi). However the people were very friendly and even if it was not always possible to communicate with them in English, they were always ready to do their best to help you and make you feel comfortable there.
