The owner wants to make everyone feel comfortable, and goes above and beyond to make sure of it. Rooms are clean and fully equipped. Located with a lot of nature around and interesting places to visit in the nearby Dão valley. We stayed for a night while passing through and it was perfect!

It was a very nice stay. We booked it a bit on the spot, and they could fullfill our needs. The breakfast had a variaty of cakes, eggs, bacon and such. It was a pleasant stay.

Excellent, well maintained hotel, perfectly positioned opposite the magical village of Piódão. Professional, courteous staff who went the extra mile to fulfil our varying dietary needs. The pool was clean and a great size and temperature for swimming laps. A huge thank you to Alexandra Vieira on reception who kindly arranged our onward transport as we did not have a car and it is impossible to use Bolt/Uber in this area as we discovered!

We loved everything: the warm welcome, the explanations about the place, and the friendly hosts. It's a tastefully designed boutique hotel, with super clean and luxurious room. Deolinda is a wonderful and welcoming host who made sure we felt at home from the moment we arrived. She greeted us warmly, gave us a tour of the house, and even had the wood stove running in advance—a thoughtful gesture, especially since temperatures were close to zero at night despite it being mid-March. The house itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated with charming details like fresh flowers on the towels. We also appreciated the bowl of sweets and fruits she had prepared, which added a lovely touch to our stay. The rooms were cozy, tastefully decorated, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated Deolinda's hospitality and attention to detail. We would happily return!

The breakfast is not included but the extra 6.5 euros are very worth it. You also have a full kitchen at your disposal if you want to do it yourself. The location is great, and you can get to Serra da Estrela in around 30min. The rooms are very spacious and they all include private bathroom.

The house was spacious and the bedroom was super cosy! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need for cooking. The village is adorable and the friendliness of the locals just made the experience more magical. Even though it gets chilly at night, our room was nice and warm thanks to the heating. We are very grateful for our welcoming hosts, who gave us good local recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!
