The building itself is (or looks) quite new, with spacious, well-appointed bedrooms, a large swimming pool, a very good restaurant and gorgeous views of Monsaraz (in the distance) and Mourão. Rooms were clean and felt very high end. The location is fantastic - it feels secluded and overlooks a beautiful lake, but you're near enough to head into town for dinner by foot (around 20 mins walk). Great service around the pool area.
