Typical traditional family run accommodation (stone houses) from the outside. Very modern, clean and extremely cosy from the inside. The hostess was very obliging and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and delicious. In short.... as soon as i am in the neighbourhood again i know where i can stay. maximum stars.

First of all, we had a great stay in Paços de Ferreira, and met alot of nice people all over the little town. Our host was super friendly, and since everything was as expected we did’nt need to request much except a small question about the door when arriving, and she assisted us right away. She also sent a message to make sure we had a good stay and to let us know she was available if we had any further questions. The apartment is really nice and perfect for a couple holiday, or for our case two friends and working colleagues in the city for business. The apartment has everything you need, and the standard is great. We did not have too warm temperatures but I can imagine it must be great to relax by the pool area early afternoons and also use the outdoor barbeque area. Would love to return. Thanks!

When i saw this listing of Castle like Country house and...

When i saw this listing of Castle like Country house and underpriced , i decided to check it out only problem was to get there within chk in time of 10pm due to severe weather i would arrive around midnight, so called to ask and Paula said ok, so when i arrived this castle on top of the hill we were greeted by kind Mr Carlos and showed us to our Royal Room. Next day at Nice breakfast we got chance to befriend Paula and got royal service with a Smile. Property is a hidden gem with 2 Angels Paula and Carlos to help you stay confortably at their country house and i wish i could stay longer. This property is located on a hill in old historic town in a very serene setting. would definately visit again..

This was such a lovely property in the country near Paços de Ferreira. The hostess, Paula, was wonderful and accomodating. She personally greeted us and showed us to our room. She also recommended a great local restaurant for us to have dinner. Our room and bed were very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We enjoyed hearing from Paula about the history of the property and her family. For the price we paid, the stay was an incredible value. We would definitely highly recommend this property.

The owner of the place is incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. She was available to do all she could to help out with transport, the room, breakfast etc. The room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The breakfast was complimentary, and delicious! The hotel is in a very beautiful, rural part of Portugal and made for quite the lovely walk around sunset. The outdoor patio is a great place to meet other patrons, and overall I had a wonderful time here.

The old hotel was an idyllic stay with history. The host was very hospitable, making sure that we were as comfortable as possible, and advising on a great place to eat when we arrived at night. The place is close to the airport so great for departure next day.
