Welcoming and helpful hosts. Nicely decorated place in a historic family house. I would like to come back during the summer to enjoy the nice outside area and swimming pool. The bed was comfortable and the room had an AC so no problems with cold during our stay. Good options of restaurants in the village nearby.

Amazing cottage! It's spacious and very clean. It has a very nice patio with lots of shade where you can have a nice breakfast or dinner. And Sue is the best host. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend this place and hope to come back in the future. Also not to forget, she has a very friendly dog called Mr. McGee and two cats. :-)

Received a super warm welcome from Lineke. The place is very charming in a beautiful, quite location. You can feel love and care for every single detail. The garden and the views were great. A beautiful setting. Idyllic and a wonderful getaway in the midsts of authentic portugal. The welcome was so friendly and though the lady with the key didnt speak English (and my Portuguese is limited) she couldn't be more kind and even brought us fruit from her garden. We felt so at home. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds very comfy. The living room/ kitchen is also a good size with everything you need for a stay. The shower was a lovely power shower & I appreciated the solar powered hot water. Be careful it is very hot !!! The house wasnt though and despite no air conditioning even in temperatures of 38 degrees the house was still cool and airy. Serta is a lovely town with restaurant's and bars and a beautiful river to enjoy. You definitely need a car and if you want to branch out to visit places you need to be prepared for a drive but the roads are empty and the tolls (if you want to go the direct route) are very reasonable. An fantastic stay in a lovely house. Can't recommend it enough.

An excellent place to stay on a cycle tour, especially one following the N2 which runs close by. The hotel is on top of a hill (so the final 1km is rather steep!) with superb views over the reservoir and valley below. Bike storage was absolutely no problem: we were invited to leave them in reception, though a locked room was also available if we had wanted it. Great pool!

Good location, for us anyway. Room 7 was huge and more than adequately appointed. This was a quick, on the day, booking and everything went as smooth as I could have wished. Be aware there is no restaurant (or bar as such) but drinks and snacks can be ordered throughout the day. Exceptionally clean in the hotel and very quiet at night.

Lovely hotel, the staff and owner were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic and they were able to produce a wonderful vegan breakfast as I'd let them know the day before we arrived. Room clean with a nice touch of free toiletries. Wonderful views over Pedrógão pequeno.

The hotel is beautiful, lovely rooms and our hosts were so sweet and accommodating. We loved the pool after a hot day touring on motorbikes. Such stunning decor. Great breakfast too!
