This property in Porto Moniz is a true gem! Its location is ideal, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and easy access to the charming, well-maintained town. The natural pools are perfect for relaxing after a day of trekking. The house is newly built, beautifully designed, and meticulously maintained, with all the essentials provided, including a Nespresso machine, which was a nice touch. It’s just a 2-minute drive or a 5-minute walk from the main hotel, allowing you to enjoy peace and tranquility while still having access to all hotel amenities. The rooftop pool offers an amazing panoramic view, ideal for unwinding. Despite being a separate property, guests can take full advantage of the hotel's services, which is a major plus. The staff was incredibly kind and responsive, quickly resolving a small issue we had. Very nice apartment with lovely terrace overlooking the ocean. The owner was very prompt in replying, and very kind. The garage is just by the apartment, which made things very easy. We even found coffee as an amenity (for us Italians this is a plus).

A good place to staying for some days (4-5) and to travel around. Excellent house with all you need - if you want to cook some food/breakfast…, wash the clothes, good supermarket is just a few minutes walking, natural sweeping pools is also very closed…and there are towels spare in the house… Parking is on place-very comfortable… Thank you, Lina🌹

We come here to enjoy the natural pools we were too tired upon arrival. But next morning was perfect, no crowds,peaceful. There are enough restaurants to choose from. Please be aware that some of them close their kitchens around 4pm

Stunning scenery. Great for hiking.

Stunning scenery. Great for hiking. Weather is changeable and was cooler than UK at the time we visited (April into May), so take a range of clothing in case of cooler days. Jeep trips to hiking trails are a great idea. you get to see places you wouldn't stumble upon left to your own devices. Overall a rally nice spring break in stunning surroundings. Just let down by poor customer service in some of the eateries.

We stopped at Fanal forest on the way to Porto Moniz. We swam in the pools upon arrival. We were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day in the winter which made it ideal for swimming and walking around.

Morning coffee and cake at the little bar outside the entrance to the bigger supermarket. Exploring the upper town and climbing the winding road up the hill for great views. Sitting on a bollard in the harbour watching old men fishing, people messing about on boats, schools of fish in the deep and very clear water, even having a harbour porpoise playing near where I was sitting. Exploring the natural bathing pools at the eastern end of the promenade, swimming with schools of fish keeping you company and then sitting with a beer in the sun at the cafe nearby.

We set up at 35 day European vacation.

We set up at 35 day European vacation. We had never heard of Madeira before this. It ended up being truly the highlight of the whole 35 days vacation. Literally every moment was exciting or truly relaxing while we were in Porto Moniz. This is to whoever may be considering Porto Moniz. No games, you’re not going to find a better place to get happy.

The hotel is run by a family. It's nice and cosy, clean, bathroom of good size, and we had a balcony overlooking the sea. It is 2-3 minutes walking to the free (old) natural pools, and around 5 minutes walking to the new (paid) ones. You are right on the main street with restaurants and Christmas lights in Porto Moniz. Breakfast was good, although a bit inconvenient that they only served it from 9 to 10 - but we planned around that!

We really enjoyed our stay at Studios by Aqua Natura Hotels. The experience felt very welcoming – we received some lovely extras like a bottle of bubbles and free tickets to the natural pools, which was a really nice surprise. Free parking was also a big plus and made things very convenient. The studio was clean and comfortable, and overall the stay offered great value.

The breakfast was great, not only European but also local specialties. The hotel is right in the center and free parking is provided. Very nice and helpful staff. Great locations, beautiful nature and an absolutely amazing natural swimming pool a few minutes from the hotel.
