Lovely get-away retreat from the city, at a small and nice village, surrounded by nature. Welcoming people and animals by the house and shared spaces. The accomodation is beautiful, simple and cosy, nearby the river with private access to the margin. The village is peaceful and offers some nice outdoor activities by the river, 3 minutes by foot, from the accomodation place.

Friendly and attentive staff. The entire hotel is clean, in good condition and well maintained. Good location for exploring the rest of Serra de Estrela as it saves you at least an hour’s worth of travel every day compared to towns in the valley. Restaurant has a large enough menu to try something different every evening and all is delicious. On a rainy day I just relaxed in the spa (sauna and small swimming pool)

Lovely hotel, loved the decor. Helpful, friendly staff. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The buffet breakfast had a good spread, with a good coffee choice. From the room I could see the Serra de Estrela. The hotel is right in center of the town, easy to walk to shops, bars etc.
