Beautiful beach, nice nature. The restaurants are rather expensive. Some of it might be due to extra costs of water and electricity. Still, the normal restaurant at Porto Santo is as expensive as a top restaurant in Lisboa. And no, quality of food is not the same. Best value for money was Mar e Sol. A great place to relax and wind down away from the hustle and bustle of daily lives. And the food at the supermarket Pingo Doce is really amazing !!! They have lamb , octopus , clams and you name it and the menu changes everyday ! The price/performance ratio was very good, and the staff was very friendly and even let us stay longer the last day because the room was available the following day.
