Constanta is a town of historic interest, situated along a coastal route once contested by Greeks and Romans ( there is a wonderful open exhibition, with many pieces from archeological finds, in the town park ( off Tomis Strada ) ...along with information of the Greek fortress that once guarded the port). The historic town square is an airy spot to enjoy the sea-breeze and enjoy al-fresco dining outside any of the many quality brasseries and bars. Boring city compared to 10 years ago. Clubs have disappeared, Taxi`s still trying to cheat you. Mamaia in regress. Water quality on the beaches still dodgy.Food,prices and service questionable. The location couldn't be more perfect and the villa was beautiful. Original design, blending old and new in a very interesting style, very good quality of materials and super comfy bed, impeccable bed sheets. We had a room on the 3rd floor and we had a window with sea view. We saw the most fabulous sunrise over the sea.
