Danes is a nice, quiet village.
Danes is a nice, quiet village. For us it was excellent because we wanted to discover the fortified evangelical churches in the area (there's one in Danes too, but we found it closed and didn't had the chance to search for whoever has the key - there's nothing special, that's how it is most of the times). Overall I can't say Danes is amazing - the whole area is and would deserve more tourists.Guest review byEduardRomania - 10

I certainly understand why the Bethlen family wants to preserve this little slice of heaven. It is slow moving with such nice people. We walked to the castle and there we met a student and a local who would have spoken to us as long as we'd wanted about the history of the area.
