The property was very clean and well maintained. Good kitchen and dining area. The lady who owns it was extremely welcoming. Good location to climb moldoveanu. I would recommend organising a taxi to the vistea mare trailhead the morning of your ascent. I was fortunate enough to get picked up hitchhiking from the town to the trailhead but I would not rely on it in the future

It was THE BEST authentic, traditional accommodation we came across during our trip around Romania. The host was absolutely amazing, and we felt truly welcomed. Besides the mountain activities, there are several places worth to visit: The Brancoveanu Monastery, Father Arsenie Boca's cave or stream, a Stag sanctuary, fortifications in the town of Fagaras, etc.
