They are very helpful and as my friend and I arrived very early on the check in date and we travelled for more than 24hours to arrive, they checked and found a room for us that we are able to check in much earlier than expected.

Very centrally located in Umeå and easy enough to reach with luggage by foot from the railway station. I did not immediately understand that I could in self-service create a room access card from my booking at the check-in machines, but a mobile phone with the help hotline preconfigured was available at the counter and a patient service person available at the other end if the call even at the late time of 11pm. The room was on the 9th floor and the view over the city built around the frozen river was fantastic. I also liked the functional style of the room. I am myself very much into making sourdough bread, thus the offered self-made sourdough buns and breads immediately got my sympathy at the breakfast buffet. I was amazed that I was even allowed to pack a lunch bag from the buffet at no extra charge.

The room was quiet and comfortable. The curtains worked well against the almost perpetual daylight, so sleeping was not a problem. We had to leave early to catch a train, and they volunteered to give us a take-away breakfast, which was ready when we checked out. There are plenty of eating places nearby, and we lucked on a really nice restaurant.

The location is superb. It is around 10min walk from the airport. We also walked to the city in 30-40 mins. The hotel is along the river and the views are gorgeous. The breakfast and dinner (which is free and included) are superb. We just loved our stay.
