Very friendly receptionist. Fantastic location if you need to get to the airport. Large and clean room and a bathroom. The employees always smiling and very polite with good recommendations. We felt really welcomed! The swimming pool is beautiful and the breakfast was also very good. Overall we had an amazing experience, also received an upgrade as we were on our honey moon.

The place is perfectly clean. The people in reception were very helpful, although the frequent blackouts in Sao Tomé make their life rather complicated. A place close to the airport. Good breakfast despite of early time of our departure.

This hotel is a perfect location just beside the airport. Eventhough for some it seems like walking distance, I do not recommend this on arrival, especially if your flight is late and it is dark outside. Rather take one of the cabs as you may miss it as tge sign is facing the side not seen from the airport. Rooms are big and comfy with aircon working perfectly. Hot water was always available. Breakfast was simple, but sufficient and fresh. The highlight is definitelly the staff, that was really taking care and helping with our request. When the road to capital was closed due to bridge reconstruction, they even paid a motorbike to lead us the right way :)

Private and lovely place in the middle of the rainforest next to the waterfall. They have a special pool for fish who clean your legs and give a lovely relaxing massage. Just put your legs in and enjoy nature around you. In the late evening, there is hundreds of fruit bats coming out and flying around the valley.

Incredibly beautiful accommodation right in the heart of jungle. Amazing views and delicious local food served in the restaurant. We were also helped to organise a tour with a guide in Obo park starting from Jardim Botanico. All in all, I would surely stay again in Roça Saudade

Casa luis is a fantastic place to stay. During my time in Sao Tome I had my base there. The room is spacious and gets cleaned every day. Top notch. The daily breakfast is tasty and plenty. Staff is friendly and always smiley. Luis the owner is super welcoming and friendly. He speaks English , too. The outside area is a little paradise and it’s well maintained. Pool is super refreshing. Area is quiet and peaceful. The place is a 8 minute moto taxi ride away from the city and also just like 7-8 minutes away from the airport. It is also safe to walk around even in the night time. Never had any issues as a female solo traveller. Highly recommend.
