Fantastic place, run by a small family. They are adding cottages as far as we understood, and with good reason. Its a stone's throw away from the white temple and a short 15 minute drive to the town center of Chiang Rai. And at the price we paid, this was a steal!

The Baanslip Hotel has everything you need for your stay in Chaing Rai. We stayed here either side of our quick trip to Laos and the owner kindly let us leave our bags. The owner is very helpful and kind and gave us a lot of valuable recommendations during our stay. Both rooms we stayed in were very clean and the balcony was a lovely addition. Overall we loved our stay at the Baanslip hotel.

Highly recommend. Easy check-in, keyless entry, clean, spacious rooms, a little kitchen, excellent air-conditioning, comfortable bed (a rarity in Thailand), soft clean towels. Great location right near Sunday Walking Night Market. And they even let me have a late check out at no extra cost, which was greatly appreciated.

Extremely spacious room that was very clean. The bed was super comfortable, best one we've had in years of full-time traveling. The fitness room was great, the equipment is top notch.
