We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our hosts were so welcoming and the room was excellent, immaculate with everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and the location, right on the river was great.

One of the best stay in northern Thailand, great food , great location , great view and the facilities in the resort is just wonderful , clean, friendly staff , love the garden and the good size pool , definitely recommend for any one who visit Doi maesalong!!

Believe the straight 10/10 reviews. The Legend Homestay is incredible. Genuinely such a welcoming and comfortable place to stay. I have never felt so welcomed before. Our hosts were spectacular. They greeted us with warm soy milk and beautiful local pastries made by their neighbour. They were so helpful: they gave us lots of advice and booked our long boat for the journey ahead. We woke up to a spectacular breakfast. They went to the morning market at 5am to get us sweet sticky rice with coconut because they noticed that we loved the pastries from the night before. They even gave us both gorgeous bracelets (which we wear every day) to celebrate our honeymoon. They are wonderful. The room is so comfortable with a great shower. Very private. The garden includes lovely places to relax, including a hammock. Cannot recommend The Legend Homestay highly enough.

Located by the river, The Maekok River Village Resort offers beautiful accommodation with private patio. It offers stunning views, an outdoor pool and the convenience of a restaurant.

We booked 2 rooms in Old Tree’s House and the place is exceptional. We stayed in 2 beautiful, cozy, and comfortable bungalows with a terrace in the midst of a lovely garden. The view and the atmosphere were so relaxing that we extended our stay. Nid, the owner, is a lovely lady, speaks very good English, and very helpful. She is also an excellent cook so we went to the market with her in the morning and brought fresh fish and vegetables and then had an amazing dinner cooked by the owner. The hotel is located about 600m from Tha ton town center/boat pier. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Tha ton.

Loved the room. So pretty, spacious and clean. We had a fridge, kettle, tv and a desk. The bathroom is good and the bed is very comfortable. The balcony was so nice - with amazing view. We sat here everyday for hours, just enjoying the mountains and tea plantations. The area is very quite and peaceful. The garden is well taken care of, and has a lot of beautiful flowers. Breakfast was good! You can choose between noodles, fried rice, soup and american breakfast. You also get tea or coffee. The hotel restaurant is also open until 20:00, and the food is great. The locations is good - 10 min walk to 7/11 and a few good restaurants nearby. About 20 min walk to the market. The staff is very friendly and helpful - not so good in english, but they do their best and google translate works perfectly. I recommend.

The care that the team of Ma Family Coffee Farm invests in what they are so good at - coffee and hospitality - is incredible. Beautiful flower patels on the breakfast tray to make it look like a piece of art, the attention they were always paying to how I was doing and whether I would like to participate in a coffee tasting or jungle coffee farm visit....I had the pleasure and the privilege to experience a truly special place with extraordinary people in it. For people who love learning, unique places, delicious coffee, exploring the wild a little bit, embracing the calm and the loud moments when the jungle gets a bit louder in September, getting to know the culture in the Chiang Rai mountain region a little bit....You will love this place. The feeling which remains with me is gratitude for having witnessed this jewel as it taught me what hospitality and giving and the passion behind it really mean. Thank you so much for everything!

Stayed there in mid of February, view from the room was good, bed is very clean & comfortable, Non bedbug, English & Chinese ok, staff working with a smile, many Restaurants around. Impressed breakfast with enjoy several kind of Chinese tea.(recommend Wolong Jasmin Tea with Honey)
