It is something different, not your run of the mill hotel room. A teeny tiny bamboo hut, hardly larger than the double bed inside, no air con, a single power outlet... And yet, it'll charm you in minutes. I called it basic and rudimentary, but my wife thought it was really romantic. Felt like camping in the wilderness - even the shared bathroom (the structure right next door) added to the feeling of camping. Granted not everyone likes having to dress up and walk to an outdoor toilet in the middle of the night, but for me it was a return to childhood. Loved it.

The location is great and the food is good. There are places to relax and enjoy the sea view. The rooms are nice, large, and clean. The breakfast is excellent, with a variety of local dishes and desserts. In front of the hotel, there are many seafood restaurants with reasonable prices. It might be a bit far from tourist attractions, but it's perfect if you want to relax.

Lovely home stay with high quality villas. Host showed us around the property which had multiple villas and a bar/restaurant next to a nice like with fish in it. Villa are clean and nicely designed and comfortable. Water pressure is great and it has everything you need for a long or short term stay. They prepared dinner for me and my 10 friends in the bar for a very reasonable price and took care of us very well. Highly recommend for any travellers.

    It was laid back and suited us but would not suit anyone...

    It was laid back and suited us but would not suit anyone wanting a busy nightlife. Everyone was helpful. Not a lot of choice in the village but the coffee bar (Kanom Baan-Baan)and the restaurant (mainly seafood) on the waterfront were excellent. If you know where you want to go the motorbike samlour system works well. Don’t miss the mangrove boardwalk.
