The normal shower that's cornered off and on its own. The clean room with fridge and kettle and aircon. The mosquito net. The friendly staff. The beach in the back yard and sun loungers with umbrellas. The ambience. The staff that drove us to our next hotel. Desperately wanted to book more nights here but they were already booked. Close to restaurants, walking distance.

I felt very very comfortable in this place! Single room is so spacious, has big bed, table, fridge, balcony! The hotel is situated right on the beach, location is amazing! And the beach is amazing. Area is surrounded by local restaurants, massage salons, two 7eleven supermarkets, there is also Paradise waterfall in walking distance from Viva hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful! I have only positive impressions of my stay here! Thanks 🙏

A true gem in Koh Phangan! The location of the bungalows is really unique - beautiful green garden, just 3 minutes to an awesome beach, close to Lotus + three 7-Eleven stores, self-laundry and great restaurants & bars. Our family of four stayed in the one-bedroom villa with 2 king beds and had plenty of space both inside & outside on the terrace. We loved the privacy as well as the closeness to reception. We have used the laundry service once, our shirts came back freshly cleaned & ironed. Manager Honey is the best! So helpful and kind - thank you so much. Can´t wait to come back!

Had amazing time here, feel like real Thai experience. Every morning see monks walk past, and beautiful temple at end of road. Neighborhood very friendly and welcoming. Even see monkeys in trees nearby! Property very big, and host Peter very kind, give best advice for places to go.

Carine and her team were extraordinary! Very friendly, very supportive, helped with the booking of scooters, massage and transportation and made excellent recommendations for food, etc. We felt at home and strongly recommend this small paradise.

    The beach is unfortubately far from what is depicted in fotos. The beach itself (water, sand) is fine, but the terrible view once inside the water as you look into half constructed building & similar, kill any joy. The water is calm and see-through, but no charm at all to be there. -- Very few pption to do in walking distance.

    Nice peaceful and quite village in the north of Koh Phangan...

    Nice peaceful and quite village in the north of Koh Phangan with an intact local community. Two Seven Elevens and some local supermarkets as well as a drug store, diving centers and several nice restaurants are located in Chaloklum. Taxi boat services to the beaches of Haad Kkom, Bottle beach or Thong Nai Pan are offered at the pier or near Viva Pizzeria.

    SeaSalt is a great private house to stay in - right on the beach. If you are looking for a relaxed and more quiet place on Koh Phangan. This is for you. We visited in low season but Chaloklum still feels alive since it is a fishermans village with a local community. Restaurants as neighbours, a new super market, sunday market, rentals and everything you need. The host is great and helpful. Everything is in order, the house is modern and lovely, and there's a SUP board to paddle around the bay. We truely enjoyed our stay.

    Really nice villas with a great pool, perfect if you have little ones as there's a shallow area. Gardens are well maintained, the villa was cleaned a few times while we were there. Work being done on a villa opposite didn't bother us at all even though they were kind enough to warn us in advance. Walking distance to beach, local amenities, lots of restaurants and cafes close by. Chaloklum is a village, peaceful but we went in the low season. Staff were polite and helpful

    Chaloklum is such a nice sleepy small town. Lots of good food and friendly people. The house has an amazing view of the beach and we had the beach almost to ourselves. The sea was a perfect huge swimmingpool. The house was so nicely decorated. And Jana was the perfect host. Thank you!

    The room was clean when we arrived and the check in process was very easy. The beds were comfy and the AC worked well. It is only a 10-15 minute walk into Chaloklum which was very handy. There is also a great burger restaurant at the property.
