Great location, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, restaurant is great, food was very good and drinks too for a good price, the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in!! The area they have on the beach had plenty of day beds for all the guests to relax.

Beautiful place on Kai Bae! Changed so many accomodation all over SE Asia and this is definitely one of the best! Hosts are so attentive and you really feel surrounded by such a positive energy. Excellent coffee and breakfast. Beach is couple of min walk... Suggest to walk by road til Cliff resort.. There is the best beach, sunbeds and lots of shade. Nice beach with no rocks. lots of restaurants, massage, 7elevent, etc... Close by. Will come back.

I loved this place so much. Driving the last 200 meters up to Alisa’s from the main tarmac road brought you through local area with hens, children and lastly at the very end of the road to the garden of Eden, that Alisa and her husbond David had created with outmost care and imminent taste for beauty and tranquility. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in, besides my own back home. The peacefulness at Alisa’s was only enhanced by the occasional hens, hornbills and other birds, but besides these natural sounds, Alisa was quiet and totally peaceful. Now with WiFi, possible to rent their scooter, they can arrange all kinds of tickets, including shuttle to Bangkok or the airport with pickup directly at Alisa’s. I visited all the beaches at Koh Chang, and besides Klong Kloi at the very south, then Kai Bai beach had a secluded and intimate charm, that the other beaches could not match. Watching the bathing elephants in the morning was an experience of delight, seeing how much these great creates enjoyed the refreshment. Alisa’s is totally new and not only spotless, but also in very delicate and soothing colors. David and Alisa kept a discretion to my second daily visitors, and always made sure to be indoor when I came home accompanied. The only minor little inconvenience, is that I had to drive 3-4 minutes in the morning to reach Kai Bai beach for a morning swim, but the reward was instant, almost entirely alone on this beautiful beach with its tranquil and warm water.

the best waterfront utilization on the island. despite its rather small beachfront, Vayna managed to utilize and design its space in an extremely appealing and comfortable manner! the hotel next to it, dewa, seems to be also extremely nice but is a notch more expensive. thus, in terms for value/money, vayna is my recommendation.

    I've been to kie bae, koh chang many times since 2006 and enjoyed most of the time . This time however I would give it 3 out of 10. Apart from it been too commercialised, it is very dirty. Hope it gets cleaner for the future.

    Koh Chang is a lovely island for holiday.

    Koh Chang is a lovely island for holiday. Roads are trecherous to drive, but the views are stunning. Beachfront resort with a nice pool, you have all you need! Some wonderful seafood buffets to uncover and a visit to one of the elephant camps will satisfy your urge to explore.

    A nice tropical island with white sand beaches, beautifull mountains, waterfalls and rainforests. Very civilized - plenty of shops, bars and restaurants for all kinds of foods and wallet thicknesses. You need to designate the season when to visit: I prefer rainy, or, as locals say "green", with rains every day but quiet and lush nature and no crowds to visit the paradice island.

    Probably what most of Thailand was like 25 years ago - limited beach front developments and no ugly high rise. Plenty of local places close to the hotel to go out to and eat. Not too busy at time of visit as coming into the low season. I would think that the queues to the ferry to get to-from the island must be pretty long during the high season which would be something to be aware of especially if flying out of Bangkok

    Love the island!

    Love the island! It reminds me of some the better parts of beachfront Mexico in the past. The Klong Plu Waterfall was also definitely a highlight, especially for a cooler dip when the ocean water is arguably "too warm".

    Napalai cooking school was hands down the best thing we did here! Bunny was amazing! The rest of our stay was brilliant also, depending where you stay and how confident you are on a scooter, could spend a week exploring the island

    Beautiful hotel, great clean and modern rooms and the BEST BEDDING I HAVE EVER SLEPT IN!! The pool and bar are busy all day and the luxury of having the sunset right out front is amazing. Massages, kayak rental, anything you need right within arms reach. The Buffett was changing daily with fresh fruits and thai specialities. Location of Hotel being directly at lonely beach is top tier. Taxi drives by every few minutes and you can also rent a scooter right at the hotel to get around and explore the island.

    This very cute little boutiqe hotel is placed just by the beach and has a very special touch to it. Our room had an very comfortable bed, super nice bathroom and also a little area with a small dining table with a fridge, kettle etc. We felt so at home and never wanted to leave. I must say the top notch of the stay was the italian food. The pizza and wines is to die for!! The owner was super friendly and so was the staff as well. I look forward coming back next year ❤️ DO NOT THINK TWICE BOOKING THIS PLACE!!

The beach side area and swimming pool majestic - although its not a beach you can lounge on the beach side area makes up for this. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve experienced.

    The location outweighs any grievances we might have had with the hotel. There were small annoyances and things lacking in room or restaurant, but all in all it is a great choice considering the location and the price. Also, the most comfortable bed in Thailand I'm pretty sure.

    Simply amazing! Friendly staff, excellent room with a comfortable bed. Plenty of options for breakfast. But the combination of pool and beach made our stay very enjoyable especially compared to other hotels around White Sand Beach
