I loved the puppy that invited you he is the cutest dog ever!! The place is great, clean and has all the facilities you need for island life. Nice and quiet. The hammock was a plus. Good location as well, enough away from the noise but close enough to walk to shops/restaurants. Owners are lovely as well.

We had a marvelous stay of 6 nights in this hotel. We picked the Sea view room, and it was just superb. The room was big, clean, and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was amazing, everyone will find his taste in the large choice they offer : Thai dishes, western dishes, Soups, fruits, freshly prepared mowed fruits salad. Perfect to start the day, especially because the breakfast area is outdoor, with a roof though, with a view on the sea. The location of the hotel itself is very well : at the beach front, quiet area, and at a 3min walking distance from the main road where you will find a variety of restaurants, tour operators today organize your snorkeling trips, laundry service, and our truly beloved 7-11 supermarket of course! The staff was lovely, taking care good care of us and always smiling. Every evening, the narrow beach of the hotel is used to set tables for dinner. It's pretty, romantic, and you can order either some food from their menu, or fresh seafood or meat BBQ, or even Mukata! The prices are obviously higher than when you eat in a restaurant on the main street, but it's normal and not too overpriced though. It worth it. The pool is clean, the water is at a good temperature, and you can see the sea while swimming.

We came 2 times to this hotel. Very nice and clean rooms, delicious breakfast, pool with slides. The staff was extremly nice. Good restaurants around. The beach was not that nice in the hotel area, so we stayed at pool.

nice place. cozy and quiet. some vacation here with children. The room is comfortable, everything works. The hotel is in good condition. The pool is cleaned every day. Cleaning room is daily or upon request. There are bike rentals right there. I liked everything!

The location is fantastic, with a beautiful beach, many restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast menu varied daily, offering a mix of local and Western options, including plenty of choices for vegetarians.

We hired bicycles for 100 baht near Centara and we could cycle to the waterfall and to visit some other beaches. It is not cheap to get around, 6km was 150 each so 300 baht for 2. We stayed at Bailan beach hotel which was nice and small and intimate with a few other restaurants nearby. We walked about 1km north and south of Bailan beach but the roads are not so safe for walking there. Near Centara the roads are wider with a cycle path.

I've been to kie bae, koh chang many times since 2006 and...

I've been to kie bae, koh chang many times since 2006 and enjoyed most of the time . This time however I would give it 3 out of 10. Apart from it been too commercialised, it is very dirty. Hope it gets cleaner for the future.

Koh Chang is a lovely island for holiday.

Koh Chang is a lovely island for holiday. Roads are trecherous to drive, but the views are stunning. Beachfront resort with a nice pool, you have all you need! Some wonderful seafood buffets to uncover and a visit to one of the elephant camps will satisfy your urge to explore.

A nice tropical island with white sand beaches, beautifull mountains, waterfalls and rainforests. Very civilized - plenty of shops, bars and restaurants for all kinds of foods and wallet thicknesses. You need to designate the season when to visit: I prefer rainy, or, as locals say "green", with rains every day but quiet and lush nature and no crowds to visit the paradice island.

Probably what most of Thailand was like 25 years ago - limited beach front developments and no ugly high rise. Plenty of local places close to the hotel to go out to and eat. Not too busy at time of visit as coming into the low season. I would think that the queues to the ferry to get to-from the island must be pretty long during the high season which would be something to be aware of especially if flying out of Bangkok

Love the island!

Love the island! It reminds me of some the better parts of beachfront Mexico in the past. The Klong Plu Waterfall was also definitely a highlight, especially for a cooler dip when the ocean water is arguably "too warm".

Supposed superior rooms like a lot of places and hotels in Thailand have not been maintained properly and let go. 1500 TBH per night for the room I stayed in I’d say at absolute best it’s worth 1000 TBH per night, the thing is a lot of these owners of hotels are short sighted, if they spend a bit of money to keep the place up to scratch not only can you charge more customers will always come back! I probably wouldn’t stay here again for the price. There’s better places on Ko Chang at better prices.

We booked villa with private pool for two nights and it was not enough. Yes, the location of the hotel is apart of everything that is going on on the island but we spent few days first in Kai Bae - so it was a perfect way to end our holiday. The villa was so spacious, got everything we needed and the design was amazing. We really enjoyed the peacefullness of the place. A big plus is free kayak and bike station.

KC have in my opinion the best location in White Sand Beach directly on the beautiful beachfront. Quiet and not disturbed from the bars down the street. The hotel area/garden and pool is very nice. Stunning view from the poolbar on the hillside. Friendly staff. Very good breakfrast. We stayed in a seaview room in the main building, and loved the room and view. I would only stay here when visiting White Sand Beach.

Resort is located right in the middle of the busy strip of hotels, restaurants and shops that line the west coast of Ko Chang. It has a small but pleasant beachfront and a small but refreshing pool. Breakfast is plentiful if nothing fancy for Thailand. Rooms are simple but clean and regularly serviced. It is extremely well priced though making this an excellent choice for budget conscious travellers.

The location was wonderful, all the tours picked us up from the hotel, the beach is right across the street and it’s beautiful. Shops and restaurants are right next to the hotel. The staff was extremely nice and helpful! We had a problem with our shower and they fixed it extremely fast! Room was spacious and ac worked great. Taxi to lonely beach costs 100baht per person.
